Because He Loved Her

He didn't know when he had this feeling. He supposed it started the day they met. It progressed every day. He couldn't help it. But he met her with false

memories in his head, memories she put in there. Memories of living in this town his whole life. Memories of false friends, false crushes, false enemies...

and a false family. Even though he knew this now, he couldn't help it, he still felt this feeling for her. Earlier, he had gone to confess his feelings for her.

Just as he got to the island, he saw her. And Tidus. Kissing. In public. On the LIPS! And his heart broke. He realized that she felt nothing for him. As he

watched them, he heard Tidus say he loved her. He held his breath as he waited for her response. The reply shattered him. "I love you to, Tidus." He ran,

trying to get away. As he ran, he thought of all the ways he could get back at them. He would take the blond boy and throttle him and take the girl he loved

and take her to a world far, far away. Away from Tidus. He would then destroy the ship so she wouldn't go, and she would be his. But then he stopped and

realized that this would hurt her deeply and he couldn't do that to her. He could never hurt her. All he wanted was for her to be happy. He would allow her

to love who she wanted. To marry who she wanted. Even if it meant breaking his heart. Because he loved her.
