"Kraang Subprime" a Kraang droid called to its superior. Kraang Subprime didn't like being taken away from the reflections of his victories, it was so rare that he got them thanks to the bumbling moronic army that he was stuck with. "Can't you see that I'm reflecting here. It's so rare that I get— — —" before the superior Kraang could finish, the inferior Kraang had mistakenly interrupted him, repeating his name before carrying on. "The project which is known as project T-879 has begun at the time which is in— — —" Kraang Subprime really couldn't stand the way his brethren communicated, it took them far too long to complete a five word sentence. He couldn't understand how he had a good grasp on the English language yet they were... you couldn't say that hadn't but you couldn't say they had either. "Learn to speak!" He called, already having left the room, leaving the Kraang droid stood there with no orders. With an evil smirk permeating its tentacled lips, Kraang Subprime rubbed his pink sticky limbs together, basking in the glory "Finally, after all these years of being stuck on this miserable mud ball, finally a plan works for me" Subprime stepped inside an elevator, letting a roar of a cackle as the doors closed together.
The feeling of a cold compress on his forehead could only do so much to soothe Leonardo. This was surely the most pain he had ever been in. It was to his surprise he had laid upon a reasonably comfortable bed, his head resting upon his mate's lap, it was pretty considerate of them, he couldn't say much decorum, the usual sci-fi tech room with tools that could haunt even the strongest of men. "Just keep breathing" the gentle tone in his mate's voice was really starting piss Leo off, he wanted some form of urgency to it. Their child was coming. "Axel. I can't. I can't do this here" softly, Axel placed his hand upon Leo's cheek, and released a quiet shushing sound to calm his nerves. But absolutely nothing could calm him, not while the child he created, he bonded with was about to be released in to the clutches of the Kraang. "Maybe, I can hold him in, my family's coming... AAGHH shit these contractions are tearing me apart" Leo held tight on to his mate's hand, squeezing harder and harder until the pain subsided. Axel didn't want to take away any of the hope Leo had left inside of him but he had to be real, in his own mind in his own mind at least. He watched, as a bump moved across Leo's bulging stomach. The child was moving, at least a part of him was. "Leo, lets think of something else. How about we name our little one" Leo opened his eyes, looking up at Axel for a moment. He already had a name in mind but the pair had never spoken about names before now. "I can't, not if I'll never see him" tears rolled down Leo's cheeks. He rolled on to his side.
Watching in to the room from behind a one way window, Kraang Subprime demanded to know how long the process was going to take. "The process in which the turtle known as Leonardo is in is what known unpredictable" The Kraang bot coward as the lead Kraang towered above it, with a threatening and disturbing grimace expression cast over his face.
Hours and hours had passed and Leo still wasn't any closer to giving birth. His body was still contracting and he was only dilated to five centimetres. Pacing back and forth in front of his mate, hoping that gravity would help, Leo was losing his mind, this child was driving him crazy. "Nineteen hours, this freakin' child still isn't here" Axel gave a cringed hiss as he read the pregnancy and birth book. "What?" Leo shot daggers with his eyes at Axel before snatching the book away from him. Leo started read the page his mate had been reading. For a first time mummy it may take up to... "Eight hours?! Unlikely to go over eighteen hours?!" Leo threw the book at the wall, immediately after, his knees buckled under the pressure of another contraction pulling at his lower regions. "Okay, back on the bed" Axel helped Leo back on to the bed, lying him down as the contraction was strong. Leo let out an ear blistering shriek before trying his breathing techniques again. Tears managed to escaped his eyes again. "I wanna go home Axel" he whimpered, longing for his family. He missed them so much, he so badly wanted to be at home, doing this at least then the child would be safe when he did finally come. His mate took his hand again before he could start panicking. "You will." Before anything else could be said between the two, the 'Midwife' entered the room. It was just another Kraang but it had been appointed to keep an eye on Leo's progress and then when the time came would deliver the baby. Leo rolled his head from side to side as the Kraang used its long winded talk just to before lifting his head. "It's not time that's all you have to fucking say" Leo's head fell back on to the pillow as the contraction ended. He panted, turning to his mate, he was so tired and admittedly afraid. It was starting to feel like this child was never going to evacuate. "I want this thing out of me!" Leo screamed at the top of his lungs.
Behind the glass window, Kraang Subprime was getting evermore impatient. "That kid is supposed to be here by now, right" the wait was become too enduring, he stormed off, ordering that he would be told as soon this child was really coming.
"Hey, hey. Maybe, he's just trying to stay safe okay, or he just really likes it in there, you made such a good home for him" Axel said, trying to be as comforting and supportive as he possibly could. To his surprise Leo agreed, his hand ran over his bulging stomach, feeling the unborn infants kicks. "Then why did you break my water, little man?" Leo hissed again as another contraction tore at his lower body. This child was giving him no choice soon his little one was going to have to come out.
To be precise, Leo had been in the first stages of labour for twenty-two and a half hours now, he was exhausted, his mate had been called out of the room ages ago and he still hadn't returned but now he had been informed that it was time for the child to evacuate. Breathing in and out, closing his eyes trying to slip into a meditative state but his contractions made it too hard. Leo rolled his head to the side only to be met by Kraang Subprime being right in his face. "Gah!" He jumped, having been startled by the sudden appearance of the pink squishy being, suddenly there. "Watcha doing?" Kraang Subprime asked with taunt in his voice, Leo rolled his head away, however, his eyes still focused on the alien creature. "Regretting ever being out alone" Leo cried, at this point he was convinced that he wasn't going to make it out of this situation. He was tired and weak. "Aww why?" Leo couldn't answer. The sudden urge to push hit him like a tone of bricks. "Where's Axel?" He begged, he could feel the child moving moving further through the birth canal, Leo didn't want his mate to miss this. "He's gone" Leo lowered his brow in confusion and rolled his head back toward the Kraang. Did he hear him right? "W... what?" He continued to push. Kraang Subprime cackled awfully at him. "He escaped" tears scurried from his eyes. Kraang Subprime placed one of his slimy tentacles upon Leo's bulging stomach. "Uhh AGGHHHHHH!" Leo pushed, he finally felt the child's head break out of him. The teen aged turtle wanted to do something, to rescue his almost born child, but he was stuck in this position, on his back and about to give birth. Tears escaped his eyes, falling down his cheek. He felt the hatred toward his mate rise. "Huuuuhh huuhh AAAGGHHHHH! Next time, just kill me!" Leo bellowed, he was close to the end now, the baby was coming, but Leo was exhausted and was not long sure he was going to make it through the endeavour.
Kraang Subprime was on the edge of his seat as Leo let out a sound that resembled a growl, he could feel the baby moving further and further out of his body. "AAAAGGHHH!" Finally, Leo was giving one final push, then suddenly... "Waaaaaaaaaaaah aaahhh!" A high pitched, dog whistle of a scream was suddenly heard. Leo's head fell back on to the table, hearing the baby let out a loud powerful scream, he smiled despite the situation he was in. "Whoa whoa, hey hey sssshh" Kraang Subprime took the baby in to his mechanical arms. "Look at this little guy, Leonardo" Leo mistakenly turned toward the child to see him. He was perfect, a healthy little boy, his skin was much lighter than his father, but had been informed not long ago that his skin wasn't far off, being a newly born baby, his head was smooth and didn't have much of a shape to it and then finally, although Leo knew that babies start with baby blue eyes, he knew they were his, the child had his his eyes. With an exhausted arm, reached toward his son, the baby managed to wrap his little hand around his father's finger. So bad did Leo want to hold his child and have the skin to skin contact that would form a bond between them, but he knew that wasn't going to happen, he was still in captivity wasn't he. "You should name him" Before Leo could react a mask was suddenly placed over his mouth, administering a gas, starting to induce sleep. For a few seconds Leo was in and out of unconsciousness, watching as his son was taken away and hearing the taunting laughter that Kraang Subprime let out "No" Leo whispered before sleep won.
