Chapter 1: I Hope You Dance .
"Okay, You can do this Ashton, just go up to him and tell him how you feel"
I was at the dance and my best friend, Emily, was right there with me.
Helping me find some courage to talk to him.
"I can't" I said"I can barely breathe when I'm around him, much less talk. And you want me to talk to him?! I can't do it"
"Yes you can, Ash"
I took a deep breath, and decided to talk to him.
"Ok, I'll go talk to him. But, don't leave just yet, I'll wanna tell you all about it'
"Gotcha, stay put. And that I will." Assured my best friend.
Hey, Sawyer, can I talk to you?
"Sure"
We walked to a corner of the room, away from everyone else.
"Um..Sawyer. I.um..think that I'm in.love with you"
"You do"
"Yeah." I answered.
"Well, I think I might be in love with you too"
"Really?!" I breathed.
"Yes. I do"
"Okay." I said in a feeling of overwhelmingness.
"Okay"
"I love you" I said in sincereity.
"I love you too"
The Dj said the next song would be a love song. I hadn't noticed the music since I had talked to Saywer. We looked into each-other's eyes, and, without speaking, both went onto the dancefloor.
"Grab that special someone." announced the Dj.
"I already have" We said in perfect unison.
The perfect love song came on.
Well, in my opinion. The lights went from a chaotic combination of colors to a soothing blue.
And Truly, madly, deeply by Cascada came on.
We danced through the whole song.
Next, I went to sit down and relax I couldn't belive what was happening.
I mean, one minute I'm talking to Emily,
Wait, Emily, I forgot to tell her.
"Em?" I say.
Where is she?
Oh, I know where she is. Sure enough I found Emily over in the Ladies' Bathroom.
"Emily, Emily, Emily'
"I'll make this really easy to understand. You.Look.great"
And she did she was average height with light blue eyes and perfectley straight auburn hair, while I was tall and had boring brown eyes and hair with a mind of it's own.
"So"Emily said,"How did it go"
I looked at her with the happiest and dreamiest expression I ever had.
