This isn't good-bye, its eternity.
His heart was breaking, worse than his body. After all the pain and doubt, his brother had done it.
"It's ok, Dean," said Sam.
Dean believed him. Beaten and bloody, despite the pain, Dean lifted a hand up. Carefully, Sam pulled Dean to his feet.
Sam chanted the spell and the pit opened. Painfully, they stood at the edge.
Michael returned ready to fight.
The brothers shared a glance. Sam began to fall. Michael charged.
With a smirk, Dean protected Sam one last time, allowing Michael's momentum to push them over the edge.
The trio fell, sealed for all eternity.
