"You guys, this is ridiculous!" Simon moaned. "Not to mention downright embarrassing."
"Aw, c'mon Simon." Alvin said. "We used to compare them all the time when we were younger."
"But I can't just flash it whenever, there has to be a reason!" Simon said.
"It's easy!" Theodore said.
"Fine, you go first then." Simon said, crossing his arms.
"Fine, here it goes." Theodore said.
"Good job, Theodore." Said Alvin, "but mine is the best."
"How so?" asked Simon while Alvin flashed it for his brothers to see.
"I show it to girls and fans all the time!" Alvin said.
"Of course you would do that Alvin," Simon said, rolling his eyes.
"Your turn Simon," Theodore said cheerfully.
"But guys, like a told you, I can't just flash it wherever and whenever! There has to be reason." Simon complained.
"Just pretend no one is here," Theodore said. Simon sighed and concentrated and did it.
"Wow," said Alvin. "That's not very convincing. Maybe you should show it off more often."
"Don't listen to him, Simon. Yours is great!" Theodore said.
"Thanks Theodore," Simon said.
"Mine is the cutest!" Alvin said.
Just then, Dave came into the room.
"Guys, it's getting late. You may be twelve but even preteens need their rest." Dave said.
"Okay Dave," The chipmunks said and got up the leave the living room. Dave had been in the kitchen cleaning up so he didn't know what was going on, but he wanted to know.
"Guys, is something wrong?" Dave asked. The boys looked at each other and smiled.
"Oh, it's nothing important." Said Alvin. "We were just seeing who had the best smile."
