Black cole shimmered in the black fireplace,

Though even a bit of soot, to Lucius Malfoy, was a disgrace.

Sparkling chandeleres were held from the ceiling;

and night clothes hanging to dry were all quite revealing.

Candles gleamed with shiny, polished rubies,

and swords were hung on the walls, so it looked like the Goonies.

Darkness was a key factor,

as no light fell in from the windows;

and stone floors under you crunch...

The stones formed by the labor of widows.

Then you a turn a hall, thinking it time for lunch,

when really Narcissa Malfoy prefers to call it brunch.

The house elves walk around like sloths, gathering the master's food.

Their hesitant and slow demeanour, showed they were an abused brood.

Onto the bedrooms now,

Draco's first.

Unrighteous magazines and a water basin sat on the dresser to quench both his thirsts.

Light was an oddity in this room also,

and dark green curtains were drawn to cloud out the sun

and rightfully so, for this son's dungeon was marked by the house elves: "Foe"

Off, now, to the master bedroom,

where rose petals littered the floor,

and though it looked inviting and romantic....

It was housing much gore.

The bruises on her arms,

were nothing of an accident..

If only he would stop and act more rational...

Though now at abuse, to Narcissa, he seemed a professional.

Screeches always rung through the house and Draco tried drowning them out.

Sometimes even, he wished to hex his parents so they would both pass out.

Now, it's onto the ballroom..

What a gorgeous place it is!

Everynight at sundown, dancing is done to live.

Feeling wind rush past you,

as you twirl gayly and joyfully...

And Lucius still, always, dipped his wife playfully.

After dancing, though, they're off to bed,

and only Draco remains.

So, in a faint whisper he hums the music and dances,

but with restraint.

He musn't bend,

he musn't turn,

no noise from him should be heard!

So secretly and quietly he dances his heart out,

then in the morning,

when his father tells him he was too loud, he pouts.

Readying himself for a wack,

his father takes out a switch.

Then, In Malfoy Manor

There

Is

Silence.
