Luke's Dreams
"No! Don't Luke! You know you don't want to." Guy shouted from beside him.
Another voice came from the left. It was Jade. "I don't kill people because I want to. It's a good cause. Go ahead!"
He didn't know what to do. Finally, Luke was strong enough. He could defeat Asch. He was such a coward. All Luke could think about was Natalia. If he killed Asch, she would have no one to marry. That wasn't the only reason. Since the beginning, Luke had been afraid to kill people. He would sit back and watch while the others fought for him. It made him feel left out. They weren't excluding him; he decided not to be there. Luke was afraid to do the wrong thing.
"Should I kill him, or not?" Luke's head was pounding.
"Ahhh!" Luke woke up disturbed by what he had seen. Sweat poured down his body. He got out of bed and looked out the window. The maids were already up. Even the gardener, Pierre was outside. Someone else was out there. He ran downstairs and went to the courtyard. It was Asch. "What the h-e double hockey sticks are you doing here?"
"I'm not here for you if that's what you're wondering."
"Then what are you doing?" Luke was puzzled. He started to walk over to Asch.
"You're so vain." Asch laughed under his breath. "I'm here to see Natalia."
"Fine, then. I'll get you next time." Luke went into his room and pouted for the rest of the day.
