Renesme's POV

Mummy and daddy were out hunting with Uncle Emmy and Aunty Rosie and Aunty Esme, uncle Carlisle was at work so I was being watched by uncle Jazzy and my aunt Alice,

He and I were watching a doco on the civil war in Texas, he was absorbed in the show and occasionally he would hiss or sigh at an incorrect fact or date.

" Uncle Jazzy could you tell me what love is?"

He didn't answer me immediately but stared at the doco lost in thought before he slowly answered me choosing his words carefully,

' Well Renesme it's like something you've never experienced something that is truly magical its what your dad feels for your mum, what I feel for Alice, what Jacob feels for you' I was still confused and he could sense it because he suddenly smiled, ' you know what how bout I show ye.'

Wave after wave of the most amazing emotion filled me, I couldn't ever describe it without my power in hand, and then suddenly it was gone I felt empty and incomplete without it.

Looking up at uncle Jazz I wondered, ' could you do it again?' he was about to answer but a pair of cold hands hoisted me up into their arms mum and dad were home.

' Come on off to bed Nessie' daddy cooed to me I loved his velvet voice as mummy described to me once. ' Bye, bye Jazzy!' I called over my shoulder as he waved goodbye to me.
