Risa Virginia is an eleven year old girl brought in a predominate family. Her father is currently the chief engineer for the London Underground. Her mother is the Dean of a predominate private school in London. Risa has long braided, brown hair, dark blue eyes, and a smile that could melt anyone's heart. She is like any other girl her age. Risa was a very was a very smart and talented young lady. She was brought up in the best way possible. Her one flaw was she had quite an imagination. This often got her in trouble. Risa would start talking about how if she was a witch she would be learning how to fly on a broom or learning how to turn her classmates in to warty toads.

"Honey. Wake up," her mother called up the stairs. Risa turned over in her bed.

"Wake up! It your first day of secondary school and I don't want you to miss your train."

"I'm up. I'm up." Risa slowly got out of bed and dressed in her new school suite. She had been waiting for what seemed and eternity to wear her new school uniform. Today she would be starting at Madam Priest's School for Refined Children. She would be away from home for the first time. Risa would of course return home for the holidays.

Downstairs Risa entered the kitchen to find her mother and older sister, Elizabeth, the table eating French toast. Elizabeth was in her last year of secondary school and would be starting finishing school next year.

"Where's dad," asked Risa curiously.

"He had to go to work early, some emergency," said her mother looking up from her morning paper. Risa sat down and put some French toast on her plate.

"I had another dream last night," said Risa.

"Oh and what magical thing were you learning this time," her mother asked putter the paper down and sipping some tea.

"We were learning how to make a love potion."

"What kind of things did you use to make the potion.

"Lots of gross stuff like bat wing and spider legs. We put in roses to make it smell nice," Risa said enthusiastically. By this time Elizabeth was red in the face and seemed completely annoyed with what her sister was saying.

"What's wrong honey?" her mother asked. Elizabeth stood up looked straight into her sister's eyes and yelled, "There are not such things as witches." She left the kitchen stomping all the way to her room and slammed the door. Suddenly began to cry. Mrs. Virginia quickly got up to soother Risa.

"Just ignore her. O.K. Now go up stairs and make sure you have everything." Mrs. Virginia to her daughter as she left the room.

Risa was running all over her room grabbing things she thought she would need and thing she just wanted to bring with her. Elizabeth suddenly appeared at the door.

"What do you want?" Risa said sobbing.

"I just thought I'd tell you, the fact that you believe in itched and wizards better not get me into trouble at school."

"It won't."

"Yeah right. Oh and one more thing. You better stay away from me and my friends," Elizabeth said leaving the room. Risa was no longer sad, she was angry.
