What's up?
I decided to do something new, so I did this.
"The Tonight Show with Natalie Kabra!" said a male voice which came through the expensive Bang and Olufson speakers in "Natalie K" studios in Los Angeles, Caliornia followed by the theme song.
Natalie Kabra came walking out onto the stage in a short suit. She was wearing high-waist blue shorts, a white sleeveless shirt which was tucked into her shorts and a black long suit which came below her waist and long earrings and the stilettos. Her hair was in a messy bun and her make up light, but evident. She gave the applauding audience a dazzling smile which only a Kabra could give. The applauding increased as she waved her hand in the most lady-like way.
"Good evening, today we have a very special guest," Natalie said, smiling at the camera which was capturing her on TV. The lights fell on her face which enhanced her facial beauty.
"He is a very successful person, owning multiple businesses. He has led a very hard childhood and yet come up on his own. After fighting many wounds like the death of his mother and father at a young age, all I have to say to him is, well done!" She continued, looking at every face in the audience.
This guy was the one who Natalie had disliked ever since she was fourteen, she always thought he was disgusting, gross, immature and a pain.
"Everybody, please give it up for Daniel Cahill!" Natalie announced. Everyone applauded again as Dan Cahill came up in a full sleeve black shirt with jeans. He came to the stage and awkwardly hugged Natalie before smiling at the crowd and sitting down on the leather, beige coloured sofa.
The two of them acted as though they were friends, even though they hadn't met each other in a long time. Not even backstage.
Natalie was sitting next to him on the sofa. No one in the audience knew that Natalie and Dan personally knew each other for more than a decade, let alone, far off related. Dan had a relaxed expression as she asked him the first question.
"So Daniel, thank you for finally coming onto my show," Natalie said, looking at him intently. The audience became quiet.
"Definitely. It's been my pleasure," Dan replied with a grin.
"So you've got a work permit in Bali, and you've opened a Travel Agency. Tell me about that."
Dan shifted his position and started happily, "Yes, it opened about three weeks ago. I really loved going around the place, where all the temples were, other than the beaches of course, so I thought about opening a company there for tours. Nothing too big, although, it's doing well."
"I'm sure," Natalie muttered. She hadn't talked to him in ages, so she didn't know what else he did. Should she ask about his other jobs? Family? Pets? She was sure to cross out the third one, but the second one seemed decent enough.
"Tell me about your family, especially your sister, Amy," Natalie shot off again.
"Yes, Amy," Dan said again slowly, as though he reminiscing about her. He wasn't looking at one particular object, rather, he was slowly shifting his gaze from Natalie and the audience. "She's fine, she now works as a Doctor and owns her own clinic. She's happy."
"Great to know. What about you..your family?" Natalie asked with an extremely apprehensive expression on her face. Her fingers were clutching her mug of coffee a bit too tightly.
"Uh," Dan gave her an odd look, as if to ask her where she was going with the conversation. He said shortly, "haven't got one."
Right, I'm going to cut it off here. To those who know about this fic, I've completely redone this whole thing as I was I unsatisfied with the last topic and plot.
