Yumi bolts out of her bed and turns off the alarm clock while swiftly grabbing her clothes for her first day of school.
Who knew I looked so ugly in the morning?
She shakes her head and puts on her new short,plaited skirt with a polo and ballet slippers. Putting on her mascara with light eyeliner, she imagines what everyone will think when they see her.
Maybe, I'll find a boyfriend this year! Oh maybe, I'll become one of the cool kids of the school and I'll actually have friends...friends? I haven't had one since...
Yumi looks at a hanging picture of her five year old self with a boy of onyx eyes with red cherry colored hair.
I don't want to think about him...please.
Yumi grabs her book bag and heads out the door.
Ugh...I forgot to eat breakfast.
