Chapter 1:

Poseidon sat on his throne, nervously eyeing his own brothers. He knew that tensions between them were arising, hence why he had called this meeting. Poseidon was scared for what was to become of the future, but he was more scared of what was going to happen right now. He is right to feel that way.

Finally, Poseidon muttered," Brothers, I called this meeting as an attempt to avoid a full – scale war between the three of us. If we cannot agree here today, I am afraid Olympus and the mortal world will be in extreme turmoil."

Hades said," We must avoid bloodshed at all possible costs, but I will go to war if necessary. I want to see that none of us shall ever wrongfully defame each other. Zeus, what is your opinion for it was you that caused all this tension to arise."

Zeus replied," I won't tolerate being the scapegoat for this situation. It is as much your fault and Poseidon's fault as it is mine."

Poseidon interrupted the argument," If this verbal warfare continues, I will renounce my position on the Olympian Council and remain in my palace underwater where you won't be able to retrieve my help."

Zeus yelled," Then so be it. I declare war on you Hades…"

"Then I have no choice but to declare war on you, Zeus. I will not tolerate watching my irrational brothers attack my other brother," Poseidon responded. With that, Poseidon teleported back to palace to prepare for war. He knew that he must contact Perseus to rally his other demigod sons to fight for him against Zeus.

"Oh Iris, goddess of the Rainbow, accept my offering, please show me Perseus Jackson."

"Hi Perseus, I need you to do me a favor," Poseidon said.

"Sure thing father," Percy replied.

"I need you to travel around the world to collect and rally all my sons; I'll give you a location of all my sons. You should be able to collect at least a 100 of them." Poseidon said.

Percy nodded and bowed in respect to Poseidon. He then left to find Chiron and Annabeth for advice. He knew that this was a disturbing message and it could mean something.

"Oh Iris, goddess of the Rainbow, accept my offering, please show me Thalia Grace."

"Hey Perce, what's up? You don't look okay." Thalia said cheerfully.

Percy replied," Have you heard anything lately about Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades? My dad just sent me a message through Iris to rally his sons together. It kind of seems strange don't you think."

"Yeah, I know right. I kind of felt the tension in the air lately, and Lady Artemis doesn't really seem to happy. I don't know what it is, but whatever it is, it can't be good at all." Thalia said.

"Have you talked to Nico at all recently? He may know something since he is always around Hades." Percy said.

Thalia replied," No, but I'll talk to him in a few minutes or later today. But first I'm going to try and worm it out of Lady Artemis. She isn't very good for a goddess at keeping a secret."

Percy nodded and then the Iris message ended. He thought to himself this almost feels like the Big Three are preparing for war, but what can they possibly be preparing to fight. He yawned and went back to his cabin. He couldn't concentrate on the current issues and definitely needed his rest before going on his world – wide quest to find Poseidon's other sons.
