Disclaimer: Don't own Harry Potter

A/N: This is a series of stories I'm writing for Mother's Day. I might even let my mum read them. This is probably the only one that will be shown writing. The others will be the mother's reactions.

Harry

Dear Mum,

I miss you so much. It's so horrible growing up without a mother. But school is good, everyone knows who I am. That's not to say they like me, but they have heard of me. My friends are great and really supportive. I know they would do anything for me We're troublemakers, just like dad and his friends were. They've come with me on my many misadventures, and I know they'll be be loyal 'till the end. I'm getting decent grades and I like school. My friends are there, and they actually tolerate my temper. Although I know you can't reply to this, I'm writing it anyway. Happy Mother's Day! I promise I'll visit your grave. Say hi to dad for me.

Missing You,

Harry

Harry finished his letter with a tear running down his face, and he put it in the envelope and tied it to Hedwig's leg. He also added a bouquet of lilies to the owl's packages.

"Take this to mum's grave for me, Hedwig," he said, stroking her head.

She nipped his finger and flew off.

"Happy Mother's Day, Mum." he whispered, and left the owlery.
