The fourteen year old walk threw to the other side of the island swiftly. 'Where the heck is he?' She thought to herself, slightly angry. 'He should have been here sooner! I mean he promised we'd try teaching Sora more fighting techniques.' She stopped walking as she glanced around the other side of the island, this island was her home, along with his.

She brushed a piece of her stray pure white hair back, as she continued to look around. She set the bucket full of water she was carrying down for a second as she went towards their raft, well, it wasn't truly a raft yet. But they had big dreams for it. she sighed as she thought about the things they don't know, but unfortunately might eventually know.

She picked the bucket back up, and threaded up towards a higher platform, where they collected the logs to make the raft. Upon reaching the top she found her worst nightmare, technically. Her friend lied there, without his shirt supporting his self on a halfway broken tree, that he had apparently been cutting down.

They had decided, or more like he decide to get the logs. Why? Because he said. 'I'm the strongest one among us, so I'll handle getting the logs.' She had tried to convince him that they could help, but he was already set on it. Now he was about to collapse from eugestion, and the heat, everyone knew that if you over worked in this heat, your bound to get heatstroke. The adults had grilled it into their brains, so they wouldn't get hurt.

She stared at him sadly, on any other occasion she might have been angry, but now she had pity and sorrow written all over her face, she glanced down to her bucket full of clean clear water from the pond, not the ocean. She looked at him, and smiled,
'If he's gonna risk getting heatstroke and killing his self, then he deserves this.' She thought to herself, as a small evil smile over came her usually caring features.

She approached him from behind stealthy and readied herself for what she was about to do, as quickly as he was half asleep, he was wide awake. Soaking with water, his arms failed about, knocking over the girl.
"Whoa!" The girl screamed as she fell off the platform, the young fourteen year old boy turned around and caught a quick glimpse of the girl falling.
"Luna!" He yelled as he jumped off the platform right beside her, "Luna?" He asked her again, the girl set up and rubbed her temples, as she felt the whole world spinning, she didn't hear him trying to get her to speak.
"Luna? Are you okay? Luna? Luna? Luna!" He halfway screamed the last part out, making Luna cerle into a ball, although he hadn't said it too loud, it felt loud as her head continued to ring.

The boy looked sorry as he said. "Sorry, but I need to make sure your not too hurt." He helped her to stand up and he asked again. "Now, are you hurt?"
Luna looked at him, and gave him a lopsided grin and said. "I'll be fine, mister vigulanty."
The boy clearly not in the mood, as he asked. "Okay, now. Why'd you *pour water on me." Even though he tried to hide the *anger in him, Luna could tell he didn't take the joke well, so she responded in a angry tone.
"Well, if you hadn't decide to work on one of the hottest days, we'd wouldn't have a problem! I mean, come on Riku! You were sweating like a dog as you were about to collapse from this heat! Didn't your parents warn you about this?"

Riku looked at her slightly amuse, sure he liked it when she was riled. It was kinda cute, though he wouldn't admit it, sure he though sometimes she could look more then a friend, but that thought would always leave him.
"I was fine! You didn't have too! Next time tap me on the shoulder, not dose me with cold water!" He said angry, though he wasn't truly angry anymore, but decided to have some fun with this argument.
"I just wanted to make sure you didn't fall asleep! And you didn't! So, don't be so angry mister!" Luna said as she playfully poked his bare chest.

Riku stared at her, his angry leaving him. "Luna." He started. "I'm more then capable of taking care of myself, so you don't have to worry. I can take care of myself." He stressed out the last part, making sure she got his point.
"Okay, then Mister, why are you not wearing a shirt?" Riku turned around quickly, trying to hide the blush that found its way upon his face. He crossed his arms against his chest and mumbled. "It was too hot." "What?" "It was too hot." Riku told her in a slightly louder voice, Luna apparently satisfied continued. "Okay then where's..." Her voice trailed off as she stared passed him.

"Where's what? Your not making-" He was cut off by her running off and yelling.
"Tidus! Get back here!" Riku upon realizing what Luna meant, ran off too and yelled. "Tidus! I'm gonna kill you!"
Tidus was in a neck break run, as he hoped they wouldn't catch up. At first he'd figured it be a funny joke, that Wakka and Selphie put him up too, but now he had the best fighters in the island hot on his tall.

'Oh, man! Their gonna kill me!' Tidus thought frantically, Riku was the best fighter on the island, after him came Sora, but when it came to fighting, everyone feared Riku, he was the strongest boy on the island, expescitly if you got him mad.
Luna was new, she had just came out about 6 months ago, no one even knew of her expect Riku, she had proven herself as a capable fighter last week, everyone watched as this new comer in a flowing dress, single handedly caught Riku and Sora off guard, and brutally pumble them.
Though not too horrible, she was one of the only female fighters on the island, though everyone knew if you got her riled, you'd need to run. And if you combine the two of them, well say goodbye and write your will!

Tidus stopped when there was no where left to run, he glanced around frantically, he could hear them running faster, trying to get him. Suddenly the pounding sound of feet stopped, Tidus relaxed a little as he sighed, the running had taken allot out of him.
Tidus was about to return to the other side of the island when Luna landed straight in-front of him, he let out a shriek at seeing her unexpectedly, he turned to run the other way, when Riku came out.
Tidus now knowing he was cornered, walked back until he couldn't take another step without falling off, Luna and Riku held a murderess look on their faces.

"Tidus." Riku growled, as he got out his wooden sword, Riku had a way of making the wooden sword hurt more then normal.
"Give me my shirt, or so help me-" Luna had the same face that Riku had, if someone messed with Riku, that messed with her. Luna's expression soften at Tidus fearful face.
'Oh no.' She thought, the last thing she wanted was to be feared, and his fear sent her regretting scaring him, she knew after her fight with Riku and Sora people looked at her twice, and when the two took on Wakka, Selphie and him. They became a unstoppable force, she hated that, the look of fear on someones face.
Hated that she was the cause of it. "Come on, Tidus." Luna said in a sweet voice, as she approached him, Riku's and Tidus's mouths dropped, as she approached him.
"Can you please give me the shirt?" She said in a sweet tone, she moved her hand to put it under his chin, Tidus flinched which made her sigh.

"If I can have this-" She said taking it, "You'll be spared." She whispered in his ear, Luna kissed his cheek and went back towards Riku, whose face was still stunned as she tossed him the shirt.
"There you go!" She said happily as she walked back towards where they were a second ago. Riku quickly tossed the shirt on, and shoot a happily stunned Tidus a death glare, then went after Luna.

"What was that?" Riku asked her slightly upset, the two were walking back towards the raft. "What?" She asked confused. "You-You first talk very sweetly to Tidus, then you-you kissed him!" He told her as he tried to hide his anger, but he couldn't.
"I kissed him on the cheek, besides I know we could have pumbled him, but instead of scaring him more then he was, I decided to be nice to him." She told him calmly, hoping the calm tone in her voice would satisfy him. "Nice!" Apparently not. "Riku." She said sweetly, "Luna, there's nice then there's what you did!" Riku exclaim angerly.

Luna rolled her eyes at him, he could be so protective of her. Too the point of if another guy looked at her, he'd kill them. "I just don't-" Riku was interrupted by her sudden hug, she sighed happily as she held him.
She knew that somehow her hugs calmed him, he would first tense up, then relax. Her mother always said she had the magic touch, she knew that Riku liked her hugs, despite he'd never hugged her back, unless she was crying. But regardless she wasn't asking him to hold her just as tight, they were just friends and that was good enough for her.

Riku was stunned as her sudden embrace, even though she did it so often, he was never ready for it. He knew he tensed up then relaxed, she must have felt him do that to, why else would she hug him so often?
He never knew why he didn't hug her back, most of the time she would pull back just as his arms would try and wrap around. He hated the fact he could melt into her so easily, anything she wanted, or needed, he would do it in an heartbeat. He never felt so weak when his mother used to hug him, but when she did, he felt helpless.

He was expecting her to pull back just as his arms wrapped around her waist, but she didn't, she held on for longer then normal. So his arms gladly wrapped around her, happy to finally be able to hold her tight.
She was slightly taken back by his arms holding her, wondering if she held on too long, she pulled back after a couple of seconds, with Riku's arms still around her waist and her arms still around him. "Feel better?" She asked. Riku nodded almost automatically, as she grabbed his arm and dragged him with her.

"Now, lets go teach Sora how to fight properly."

"What?"

"Remember? We promised Sora we'd teach him how to fight."

"Can't we just leave him how he is?"

"What? Riku! Come on! It won't hurt him to try and get better."

"But it might damage the order."

"Shut up! Now lets go!"

I liked it if you people review...Pleasssssse!
