I was sitting along the river with my good friend with the white hair. Wow, it felt so weird to think that… 'friend'. I watched Tabitha splash her feet in the water as we both sat there, silently. So much could be said in the silence, especially with Tabitha's 'gift'. But on the off beat of the moment, Tabitha turned to me; she looked so intent on saying something, yet she said nothing.

"What… what is it?" I questioned, smiling at my friend. Tabitha looked unsure for a few moments before she looked away. She seemed to stare out at nothing, or maybe everything. I noted that she did this often whenever she thought deeply about something. "…something is telling me that you should watch your back," she said, before quickly adding, "with that Jason fellow."

I gave her a look, thinking her words over. I cleared my throat, "Jason is a good guy." Tabitha didn't look too convinced. "I think you should watch your back, Tabs." She looked at me, perplexed. I reached down into the water and splashed a little bit of water on her, while giggling. She showed me a look, but her look wasn't as nice as mine. I shrugged, "Sorry…"

"…I'm only human." There was something ironic about my voice and my words, something that only Tabitha understood.
