Siegbert sat up from his cot and rubbed his eyes. He looked around the tent wondering if he was going mad. Someone or something was saying his name. He reached for his sword at his bedside and slowly crept out of bed. He had asked not to be disturbed so he had to proceed with caution. A first prince never lets his guard down.

"If someone is in here I ask that you speak now because I will not hold back." He hoped his voice didn't betray his nervousness.

"Siegbert…." The noise clearly said his name.

It came from the entrance of his tent. He slowly crept to the entrance and slashed the fabric causing whoever was behind it to scream out in terror.

"Don't kill me!" The boy shrieked.

"Foleo!?"

Siegbert sheathed his sword and knelt down to help Foleo up. "What in the gods' name are you doing at my tent at this hour? I almost killed you!"

Foleo gave a meek shake of the head. He dusted himself off and picked up a sack he was carrying. "I don't know Siegbert. I just thought that…I could…I wanted to…"

Siegbert was upset. He jumped in before Foleo could finish. "You wanted to what? This is no time for playing pranks especially when I asked not to be disturbed. You know how important tomorrow is for me….for all of us."

Foleo had tears forming in his eyes. "I know that's why I wanted to give you these." He bowed his head and handed the sack out to Siegbert. "I wanted you to look good for when Uncle Marx and Father visited us."

Siegbert took the sack and pulled out the best looking Nohrian clothing he had ever seen. The crest of the royal house was engraved on each set. He felt guilty for yelling as he ran his hands over the clothes.

"Oh Foleo, my dear cousin. I have done you wrong. Can you forgive my outburst?"

Foleo wiped his eyes and sniffed. "You don't need to apologize. You are under a lot of stress."

Siegbert stepped forward and hugged Foleo. "No please let me make amends. I've been so selfish and moody lately. You've always been there covering my tracks and supporting me."

They parted and Siegbert patted Foleo on the head gently. "You always liked it when I petted you like this when we were younger, yes?"

Foleo blushed and swatted his hand away. "Stop! I am a man now not your little cousin anymore."

Siegbert chuckled. "Sorry to say but you will always be my little cousin." He turned towards his mirror. "Let's say I try on some of these and you tell me which looks best. Sound fun?"

Foleo nodded eagerly.
