My name is Alice Brandon, and I had a pretty good life, until.
Flashback:
"Why do you have to move?" My best friends Rosalie Hale, and Bella Swan complained.
"I don't know why, but Cynthia, Julie, and I are moving from sunny Phoenix, Arizona to rainy Forks, Washington."
That was when I was in 3rd grade. At the time I had a huge crush on Rosalie's brother Jasper, but you know being in third grade isn't really the time your supposed to be dating.
Then the day before I move Jasper shows up on my door step telling me he likes me.
Flashback:
Ding dong
I opened the door to see Jasper with a bouquet of roses.
"Uh, hi Alice. I know this probably isn't the best time with the move and all, but I really really like you." He said handing me the roses.
"Jasper, I've liked you too but I'm moving tomorrow. I'll probably never ever see you again, but I'll never ever ever forget you ok." I said kissing his cheek.
"K, I wish you weren't moving." he said
"I wish that too, then we'd never have to be apart. But apparently I have to move so." I continued
"Bye, Alice. I'll tell Rose you said bye." Jasper said walking down the one step.
"I'll miss you." I whispered

All the goodbye's before that one weren't as painful.
My life started getting back in order in 5th grade, when I met Joel Carter.
I developed a crush on him.
Then I got a phone call that changed my happiness forever.
Flashback:
"Alice, phone." my mother called
I grabbed the phone from the receiver.
"Hello" I said
"Hey Alice, it's me Maria. You'll never guess who's going to ask you out tomorrow" Maria said
"Who?" I asked
"JOEL CARTER." she yelled into the phone
"No way"

That was in 5th grade, then Maria started showing interest in Joel.
6th grade comes along and I'm sitting at home boyfriend less.
In 7th grade Maria told everyone a huge lie, at least I think it was a lie.
Flashback:
"Attention everyone." Maria said standing up on her chair.
"Did anyone know Joel never liked Alice, he only dated her so her family would pay him through baseball camp." Maria said

Almost everyone hates me now, I don't even know why.
I have one friend, Emmett McCarty. He was my friend when I started Forks Elementary, and he's been there ever since. When Maria told that lie he sat there in my room telling me it was going to be alright.
I miss all my friends back in Phoenix.
"Alice phone." Julie called
I grabbed the phone.
"Hello." I said glumly
"What has Forks done to my best friend." the voice said
"Rosalie, is that you." I said shocked
