She's Mine

The first time he saw her was when she was wrapped up in a little pink blanket in her mother's arms. He was there for his best friend not for his daughter. He couldn't handle watching his best friend hold his daughter with him swaying in the back of the room, forced to have a smile on his face. His best friend turns and asks if he wants to hold her but he says no, he lies saying he has to be somewhere. He leaves and rushes to his house. Packs his bags and leaves a note for his mother and sister. He leaves not knowing where to go, just wants to leave all the things that happened in the past. He goes to the airport and gets a plane to New York, using the money that was for his daughter. Months pass and he just had the casual talk with his mother and sister over the phone, but never anyone else. That is until one letter arrives in the mail, it was addressed to him from Lima, Ohio. It reads:

Dear Puck,

I told Finn, knowing that was the right thing to do. Why did you leave us, why didn't you tell me to tell him earlier? I hate myself for not telling him and for letting you leave like you did. I need your help, no one else is. Your daughter needs you. Her name is Kayla; I knew that you wanted to call her that, she's almost one. She really needs her dad and I really need you…

From Quinn.

He's heart broke when he finished reading the letter, knowing that leaving like that made it worse for Quinn to tell Finn the truth. He rang his mother and told her, he was coming back to Lima. He got there the next day and unpacked his things. His mother still didn't know that he had a daughter; she never liked Quinn which was the problem. He called Mike and asked where Quinn lives. She had her own apartment, near the school. He went there, knocked on the door and then it opening to the girl who was the only girl he had ever loved. She started to cry and he hugged her. He got to hold his daughter for the first time and helped Quinn get back on the right track. He went back to school, Finn didn't talk to them. He got together with Rachel which Puck knew would happen once Quinn told him the truth. Kayla grew up learning that Puck was her father not Finn, if Quinn didn't tell the truth. Puck was proud that he didn't have to see his best friend be her father. Quinn and Puck got together and lived the life he wanted to have. He was living with the girl of his dreams and a beautiful daughter. To Puck, Quinn and Kayla are always going to be his.
