"Tenten, it's your turn! Truth or punishment?"
"No, Hina-chan! She chose punishment before so it must be truth, now!" said the pink, winking at the fair.
"You are perfidious, do you know?" answered the girl called Tenten, with a big smile.
"We talked about it yesterday, why do you always smile?" asked Ino with a questioning look.
"Yes, you always have a smile in your face" said Sakura.
"Above all, when there is my cousin around" finished Hinata, maliciously.
Tenten got embarrassed and blushed.
"It's…it's an old story about when I was a child. You don't want to listen to it, right?" asked with hopefull eyes.
"Wrong! We are very interested!" answered the girls together.
Tenten sighed, but she started the narration with usual smile and a mysterious light in the eyes.
A child flung a kunai towards a distant tree, missing it. The weapon got in a little heap beside the plant, tinkling.
"I made a mistake again!" she said "I'm going to the Academy tomorrow and I still can't get score a direct hit on with the kunai!" she sighed.
A tear came down her cheek, followed immediately by another one and in few seconds, she was crying like a fountain.
"Why are you crying?"
The little Tenten raised her eyes and she saw a child with long brown hair peeped out by a bush. The little girl hissed herself, frightened by the new comer.
"Well?" his pearly eyes observed her with curiosity.
"I can't hit the tree and I'm going to the Academy tomorrow" she said sobbing.
"It's silliness. How aren't you able to do it?" he asked haughtily, making gush other tears in Tenten's face.
"Right! Let me see how you fling!" and he went beside her.
Tenten took the position and flung, missing the tree again.
"You are wrong! Take the position" he said, going up to her "Turn back little more to the side, stay up right and fix the target".
Tenten couldn't breathe, his hands were leant in her sides and she could feel his breathe tickling her neck.
"Concentrate you to the target!" the child said determined.
Tenten emptyed the mind and stared at the tree, when she felt ready, she flung. The kunai hammered in the right plant. The little girl looked incredulous the result in less than 5 seconds, she was hugging her neighbouring happily.
"Thanks! Thanks! It's only thank to you!" she said, catching his hands and smiling at him.
"It was as easy as I said!" said the little boy, embarrassed.
"Master! Master!" a ninja arrived running "Master, you shouldn't have gone like that." Said the man out of breathe.
"Let's go home!" said the child, moving away, followed immediately by the new comer "I forgot… You are prettier when you smile" and went away.
Tenten was astonished, the face red staring at the point where he vanished "Ah! I didn't ask his name!"
"Then, when I went to the Academy, I met him again!" went the girl with a big smile.
"Do you understand our Hyuga?" said Ino amazed.
"He was your first love!" declared Sakura, blowing of the Tenten's elbow.
"And he's still the only one!" stated Hinata.
They all laughed.
"Girl! The mashmallows are ready!" Choji shouted out.
"We're coming!" yelled the four at once, standing up, all with a smile in their face.
