I can't believe her
Summary: This is set after Eli walks away from Clare at the end of Love Lockdown part 2; this is his thoughts on her actions.
I can't believe Clare did this, she of all people. I get that she doesn't want her parents to split up, No one wants that, but. How could she do this? After all she knew I wanted to make a really good impression on her parents, but she had to tell her parents about my religion and all about my faults. Now today with the wardrobe change thing. I like the way she looked before, I know she did that to get in trouble so her parents would get upset. But, fuck, I think she's going a bit overboard. I really liked Clare, I still do, but I don't know how much I can take of her behaviour, especially her making her parents think I'm the devil's spawn or whatever. I can't believe she did that. Hopefully this was just a phase, I was probably a bit brutal to her, but she needs to know that her actions really hurt me. I'm her boyfriend and she goes and makes me look really bad in front of her parents. They seem like nice people. But, I don't know if they like me or not. I'm still debating whether to break up with Clare or not. I'll talk to her tomorrow. My perfect Clare hurt me. I don't know if I can let that go or not.
