Dear Dean,
I feel like an idiot writing this letter because you aren't here and I don't know where you are. You could be dead for all I know, for bloody's sake. Either way, I needed to talk with you somehow and this is the only way I can. So bear with me.
This sounds bad mate, but you're lucky to be on the run. Hogwarts isn't like it used to be. Snape's a right 'ol bat. He brought in Deatheaters as preofessors. You know it's bad when I, Seamus Finnegan, miss real school. The other teachers are trying their hardest to protect us, but these Carrows are worse than Snape.
Oh yeah, The Carrows are the Deatheaters. They're in charge of discipline. They're so bad that even Filch is letting people off for misbehaving, but the Carrows are everywhere. I'm beginning to worry about Neville though. He's made quite a few enemies by defying them. He's gone through more detentions than that Umbridge hag ever gave out. I'm behind him 100%, but with Luna taken and Ginny in hiding, Neville's going to have to leave soon. They already threatened his Grandmum. Too bad they didn't know what they were getting into. That Auror, Dawlish, was taken into St. Mungo's afterwards. She's on the run now, but that just means they're going to come after him specifically.
That would leave me with no dorm mates. With Harry and Ron missing and you on the run, it's been pretty lonely. I'm thinking I might go and disappear with Neville, but I couldn't leave Pavarti. I know, I'm hopelessly in love with her, but can you blame me? We've sworn to protect each other and so I'd bring her with me. Which would also mean Padma and probably Lavendar too, but at least we'd all be safe.
Well I'm going to end it here. By the looks of my Galleon (you know the ones from the D.A.), Neville's in some serious trouble. I have a feeling I'm spending tonight alone. Take care, mate. I miss you a lot and I really hope you're safe. Good Night.
Your Best Mate,
Seamus Finnegan
AN: How'd you like it? I wrote this one a little bit ago and jotted it down. I'm finally actually publishing it so I'd like to know how you like it. Thanks a bunch! :)
