Chapter 1
One day after school Amber find's Drew watching cheerleading practice.
''hey bud what are you doing?'' she asks him
Drew jumps ''huh what oh nothing!'' he says
''watching the cheerleaders?'' she asks him
''anything look good to ya there bud?'' she asks him
''no Amber just don't tell mom about this okay?'' he asks her
''oh I won't.'' she says
''looks like its a lot of fun.'' he tells her
''What?'' she asks him
''are you thinking about trying out and joining?'' she asks him
''oh I don't know maybe if they uh let me.'' he says
''than you should try out if it's something you're interested in and are going to stick with.'' she tells him
''oh I don't know.'' Drew says
''I think it will be good for you bud.'' she tells him with her hands on his shoulders
Drew shrugs ''maybe.'' he says
''okay bud I got to get home and study so I'll see and meet you back home.'' she tells him
''okay bye.'' he says and continues watching the cheerleaders
Amber finds a ride home and gets her books out and starts to study and Sara walks in and gasps.
''tell me you are not seriously sitting there studying!'' Sara says
''your really studying?'' Sara asks her
''yea.'' Amber says
''just seems weird since you never do.'' Sara tells her
''well yea just trying to make a good impression in my classes so my teachers don't have to be so afraid of me.'' Amber tells her
''oh.'' Sara says and nods
''so where's your brother?'' Sara asks her
''oh I don't know he just stayed after school for uh something.'' Amber tells her
''what was that about the whole uh thing?'' Sara asks her
''nothing he just stayed after school okay?'' Amber questions her
''doing what?'' Sara asks her
''okay fine he asked me not to say anything but he stayed after school to watch cheerleading practice.'' she tells her mom
''What?'' Sara says
