A Different Ending
Summary: What if Ben was never spelled by Uma and he realized that Mal would never fall in love with him?
"Did you go back for her Ben?" Ben heard the heart break of Mal's voice, he didn't pay much mind as he was entranced by Uma's beauty, the blue turquoise sequenced dress hugged her figure so well, everything about Uma was beautiful, of course he saw that beauty in her back on the ship when he felt a connection to Uma. Ben turned too look at Mal as Uma continued too stare at Ben.
"Something happened between Uma and I.. back on the ship.. it was a.." Ben looked at Uma and smiled shyly at her, he felt Uma grab his hand which caused his heart too race against his chest. "It was a connection." Uma finished for him which caused Ben too nod.
He didn't pay any mind too the students around them that gasped in shock he saw the tears swarming in Mal's eyes there was a small part of him that wanted too apologize for everything but he didn't as he felt Uma moved away and move closer to Mal.
"Mal.. I.. I know things between us were.. rocky but.. I wanted too thank you.. for letting me give love another chance.." Mal looked at Uma who held her hand she was too in shock at the moment as her once friend took away her boyfriend. She stood frozen when Uma wrapped her arms around her, Ben smiled at Uma, he moved closer and placed his hand on her arm.
"Would you care too dance" Ben asked into Uma's ear, a blush rose on Uma's face. "I would love too Ben." She smiled as she handed Doug her purse before moving back into Ben's arms as the students moved out of the way so they could dance with each other.
Mal watched the scene in front of her before she moved over too Evie who placed her hand on the small of her back. "Come on, let's get out of here." She whispered too Mal who nodded her head not wanting too be there at the moment. Jay, Carlos and Lonnie moved up too the stairs Mal didn't pay any mind as Jane shouted for her, they brushed past Queen Bell and King Adam as they rushed out of the yacht.

After the ceremony Ben had brought Uma back to his dorm, he looked at Uma as he opened the door too his room. "Does this mean you're staying Uma?" Ben asked softly as he closed the door behind them while he took off his vest. Uma hadn't really thought if she was going too stay in Auradon or if she was going to go back too the Isle.
"I wouldn't be welcome here Ben.. you saw the students and how the reacted to me…" She murmured quietly Ben walked over to her and held her hands in his.
"Uma, you're one of the strongest I know, you can handle anything that gets thrown at you.. that's what I admire about you, please say you'll stay.." He asked softly his eyes staring into hers which caused her too blush as she knew she couldn't say no too Ben.
"Alright.. fine, I'll stay." Ben grinned sheepishly as he leaned in and kissed her lips deeply all thoughts of Mal left him.
