He sat on the bed, staring at her pixie-like features. God, did he ever stop thinking about how much he loved to watch her sleep? To think about the kind of dreams she was having.... were they of him? He often had dreams about her, their two kids, their perfect house straight out of the old 1950's perfection.... Even down to the little dog, Sparky.
Duo smiled, touching her smooth china face with one tanned finger. An angel incarnate, smiling off in her own little dream world, without a single care in the world. That secretive little smile that he wished would turn his way.
He sighed, shaking his head as he got up off of the bed, padding into the kitchen in bare feet. He put the water on for coffee, thinking only of a way to come out to Hilde, to tell her how he felt for her. Would she understand?
The boy sighed, grabbing the speaker for the vidphone. Heero had wonderful ideas...when he bothered talking about them. He punched in the number quickly, pacing back and forth. He had to finish this conversation before she woke up.
"Hn." Heero picked up, glaring. "What is it, Maxwell? I'm in the middle of something."
"I need your help with Hilde. I want to show her how I feel, but I can't..."
The japanese boy rolled his eyes, "And I suppose I'm the great relationship counselor because of Relena?"
"Exactly. So, help me, oh great Heero-sama." Duo grinned a little while Heero rolled his eyes again.
"Buy her a stuffed animal. All girls go nuts over them." His face disappeared while Duo ran for his wallet. A stuffed animal! Perfect! Maybe there was a reason why Heero was the psuedo leader of the group.

He held the tiny thing in his arms as he watched her walking around the scrap yard. The trip to the toy store had been quick and painless. The moment he'd seen this little floppy eared dog/rabbit/beast he held close to his chest, he *KNEW* it was perfect for her.
Hilde stuck her head into the workshop, grinning when she saw him, "It's almost dark, Duo. Are you coming in for dinner?"
He nodded, swallowing a little, "Be there in a sec!"
She grinned at him, "You'd better be." He stepped out into the final moment of the day, the sun beginning to set behind her petite form. "What's that?"
"It's for you!" He handed it to her, grinning like an idiot.
The girl looked at it, "Duo, this has to be the ugliest thing I've ever seen in my life, but if you bought it...I'll cherish it always. Thank you...so, so much."
It was now or never time, "Hey, Hil...I love you..."
"You do? Oh, Duo! I love you too!" She threw the thing down in a pile of grease and they began to dance around in the grease pit they called home together while the sunlight streamed down in the distance.

Okay. This was PLOTLESS/terrible fluff written because I felt like subjecting a certain group to it. And yes, I know this was terrible. You try writing terrible/evil fluff that you want to be the worst thing ever written when you love the characters and angst. Have fun. And flame me, please. I love roasting marshmellows....
And if you can figure out who I really am, I'll...I don't know what. But you'll laugh if you knew who this was. Thanks! Bye!
