Kikyou, born as a priestess by fate always had wished to live as a normal woman.
Then she met Inuyasha. She quickly grew to understand him. Therefor, she refused to kill him.
He quickly began to notice her more then usual and oftenly snuck up on her. Eventually she told him that she
knew he was there and that she wished to speak with him. She told him her deepest desires and explained why she could
not bring herself to kill Inuysha. They bolth eventually fell in love with eachothyer only to be torn apart by the evil Onigumo/Naraku.
Onigumo was a theif who was tortured brutily by random villagers. For doing such a thing, he was un able to move anylonger.
Because of that, Kikyou's kind soul stepped in. She pittied him and tried her best to nurse him back to health.
He quickly began to have evil esires for her. He was extremely jealous of Kikyou and Inuyasha's love. He was so jealous, infact one day he summoned
thousands of demons to merge with his weak body, giving him the power to shape-shift. After gaining this new power, he took revenge.
That day, Kikyou had recently told Inuyasha that he could become human. Thanks to his love for Kikyou, he accepted. She was supposed to deliver
the sacred jewel to him that day. But, Naraku used his no powers to kill her. As she was walking, Naraku morphed into Inuyasha, and
Used his claws to stab her brutily. He then stepped on her hand, claiming that he was using her and that he never wished to be Kikyou's lover.
She then, instead of using the jewels power to save herself, pinned him to a tree, and still refused to kill her lover.
She then requested for her body to be burned, along with the sacred jewel.
When she was revived, she begged not to be. If you check the quote, she says,"Please don't call out my name. Please don't say my name."
In other words, she did not want to be full of rage. She wished to remain part of Kagome's soul forever.
Even though she now is a creature born of hatred, she still helps villagers and small children.
She must have been hurt, hearing her own sister say that she has to die. Kikyou wishes to live a life full of peace
now but can't fight off the memories of Inuyasha.
