Murtagh scowled as he thought of his brother-his overly lucky brother who'd had everything Murtagh hadn't.

Eragon, the dragon rider who was perfect by nature, or so they thought. Just what the world needed right? More lies about a hope that never was and never will be.

Meanwhile Eragon thought to himself, Had Murtagh no shame? Dosen't he see that I'm only trying to help him?

Of course though Murtagh could not read his brother's mind so he continued to rant to himself. Eragon thinks he's got everybody fooled. A mocking sneer crumpled Murtagh's features, Look here he comes now. Bow down and stare in wonder. Oh how we love you...

No flaws when you're pretending.

Just the same as Murtagh, Eragon could not hear his sneering brother. Now Eragon knows Murtagh never treated him like a brother, not like Roran did. Murtagh and him could have been true brother's only in a world that never was and never would be. Murtagh dosen't know how he's betrayed me.

Whilst Eragon tormented himself about a world that never was, Murtagh felt darkness creep into his soul. When he reveals to everyone who Eragon really is, what will his little brother do? Without his lies where will he hide?

Neither brother can find the other because they're too lost in their own lie.

So when Eragon finds out the truth he can't help but to think, I know who I am. I know the truth now; it never was and it never will be!

Still Murtagh had betrayed him.

Stll Murtagh believed the same of Eragon.

A/N Yes it's short, but otherwise how was it?
