A/N: Welcome! This ain't my first rodeo, but I've removed all my other stuff cause it was old stuff that wasn't really all that good so I'm starting a new! Hope you enjoy, this will be a long one, so strap in and I hope you like Foxy x Mangle lol
It was a overcast Wednesday when the creaking front door of the moldy original Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria was opened for the last time in 15 years. Sure the old animatronics within have not slept but the cracked and dirty checkered tile floor, the dirt caked windows, many of which were broken with rock size holes that some bored teen made, or the wallpaper that pealed off and hung over the floor revealing the bare wall dirty from years of abandonment. 3 middle aged workers, with safety helmets on in case the unstable roof collapsed entered the decrepit building. They each wheeled in a dolly with a large wooden crate, but left two by the door. All three men would be needed for the task of moving the heavy animatronics that they had been employed to move. The animatronics despite their age had remained in good shape during their 15 year hiatus, maintaining themselves the best they could as they roamed the empty building they called home. The men ascended the stage, the wood steps creaking, and made their way to the large brown bear with a small top hat on. Freddy Fazbear himself, the mascot of the franchise, and first to be loaded on the truck for transportation to a new restaurant of the same name that had been opened a year prior, featuring updated animatronics since the old ones while not bad, were outdated. The animatronics went into their 'sleep mode' during the day just in case some pesky human decided to drop in unannounced and see sentient robots just "hanging out". They lifted the heavy metal bear suit which they were explicitly told to keep in one piece and lowered it into the now open box, with red straps sticking out like an octopus planning an escape. After it was placed in the box the bear was secured using the red straps to harness it to the box and hopefully prevent it from falling and crushing some unsuspecting soul with it's 300 lb. body. Two of the men laid the box flat on the ground to make it more safe, and the third man went to retrieve another box for the big purple bunny on the stage. For how long they've been left here the men were a little scared on how pristine the robots, which had been new when they were kids, looked just sitting among the disgusting building. They loaded the other two animatronics into the boxes, and rolled the boxes out with the dollies into the small moving truck outside. They were about to leave when one of one of the men stopped them.
"Hold up. Didn't Marcus say there were four robots in the building?", Toby the youngest of the three at 19 asked them before the departed, seeing an empty fourth box in the truck to tip him off.
"Ah shit you're right squirt, let's get her done", Mark, a squat father of 3 in his 40's responded in good spirit, helping him grab the wooden crate and get it into the nightmarish pizza location.
The last robot was easy to forget as he was in his own part of the building, called the Pirate's Cove, which had been shut down long before the rest of the building due to an incident that took place with it's unique animatronic. The unlatched the metal chain holding up a sign saying 'Sorry! Out of Order', and opened the large purple curtain that served as the door to the pirate's lair. The fox animatronic within was in considerably worse shape than the other 3, his tan trousers were torn high on this thigh, exposing the framework of metal legs, fur was completely gone from around his left ear and several gashes tore through his torso exposing the metallic interiors.
"Damn what the hell happened to fox boy", Toby muttered to the others. The animatronic was significantly more ghastly than the other 3, and was locked down like an asylum patient. Two metal bands kept his jaw latched shut, and the arm with the hook on the was banded to his exposed metal thigh, and three more bands kept his legs tied to together. Only two kept the arm with the regular hand strapped to his body as it was low-risk. The men were perplexed by the restraints on a non-functioning robot but $450 for an easy days work kept their mouths shut on the matter and no questions were asked. Little did they know that the off switch on this robot was broken, and he was always on, but played along so that he was not "shut down" permanently. They had to be more careful with this animatronic as his body was more exposed than the rest, so they gingerly placed the pirate robot in a box like the rest, and loaded him in the truck. He was of a smaller frame and a few inches shorter than the rest making him somewhat lighter and easy to move. They placed him with the rest and shut the door on the back of the small moving truck, before hopping in the truck to drive the robots to their new home, yet another pizzeria.
Meanwhile
At the "new" Freddy's location, which was still 8 years old, housed a similar but fundamentally different, preferring a more modern plastic design, a wide distinction from the fur suits of the older models. The "same" four animatronics that inhabited the old restaurant lived on with new designs here, Freddy the Bear, Bonnie the Bunny, who was now a light blue color as opposed to the old bunnies purple fur, Chica the Chicken, and Vixey (a combination of vixen, a female fox, and Foxy's name) the Fox, a female version sporting a white and pink design while being an adventurer, to broaden the demographic of fans for people who may not be a fan of pirates, which may also explain the gender change, to give the crew an even split of 2 males and 2 females. The day was progressing as usual, until the short moving truck parked out front, garnering attention from the Freddy's Band, composed of Freddy, Chica, and Bonnie, who noticed the disturbance in the normal routine. The three men each unloaded a dolly with a large wooden box which they brought to the Parts and Storage Room, and cracked open, placing the animatronics lifeless bodies on the black and white floor. When they brought Foxy in, they left him in the box per the customers instructions. The day died down and the old animatronics whirred to life, and they set out to explore their new home. The door creaked open as Freddy led the charge, and a voice from the large dining room called to them "Come, come, welcome new friends! We are over here!"
The followed the voice and saw their damn near clones. They approached very cautiously to their doppelgangers. Bonnie looked confused at his apparent female counterpart
"Freddy Fazbear, I assume?", old Freddy joked shaking the outstretched hand of the new Freddy.
"You as well?", The new one replied. "To help out with communication hear, you can just call me Fred, that will suffice."
"Sounds good to me", Freddy concluded, preferring the long version of his name anyways. The rest of the animatronics greeted one another, and upon hearing his doubles voice, he realized that Bonnie V.2. was actually a male, who decided to go by BonBon, and the new Chica went by ChiChi, so everybody could communicate.
"They are only 3 of you?", Fred asked Freddy.
"No there are four, the last one is a scumbag who we should have killed when we had the chance, but with the cameras here and such it would be... unwise. He's deactivated in the Parts and Storage Room, and I was going to ask you the same thing, where's your fourth member?"
"Yeah we got a fourth but she's a recluse bitch, hides in her room all day, can't be bothered with the rest of us lowly worms", Fred angrily growled, venom spewing from his maw, as he sarcastically ended his sentence.
Vixey listened with her large ears pressed to the door as she listened to the lies spread by Freddy, she listened patiently for ChiChi and BonBon to chime in. They were loyal to him to a tee. What they spoke was truth, technically, but they failed to mention the abuse and violence they perpetrated against her as she was in their words "an attention whore to the children", although the children showed her no special treatment. It was lonely perhaps, locking and barring the door of her Cove after the restaurant closed but it was far better than the alternative, beaten within an inch of her life multiple times a week. Fred's anger was like that of an alcoholic father things could go from fine to explosive in an instant over minor issues. The three despised her and wish they could be rid of her for good, but had not found a way yet.
(A/N: The animatronics are mostly alive, in a sense that they can die in the same ways that a human could die, and feel pain, but are not entirely human like, they're stronger, and have a higher pain tolerance.)
"So what kind is your problem?", Fred inquired, trying to keep the small talk alive between the two groups.
"Pirate fox, looks stupid as hell too, like who thought a pirate fox was a good idea?", Freddy answered, annoyed just thinking about Foxy.
"Oh how the coincidences continue between our little families friend. We also have a problematic fox, though ours is female.", Fred chuckled deviously.
Vixey's ears perked up at this, Another fox? Maybe he'll want to be friends, beats being alone right? Right?, she thought her mind racing as she ran through all the possible scenarios. Her lonesomeness fueled her adventurous spirit as she desired nothing more than to meet this other fox, her one potential friend. Her eyes darted across the room searching for a way out of her cove and towards the Parts and Service Room as she assumed he would be in the same place that the others were delivered to this afternoon. She spotted a vent cover near the ceiling and she scooted over the stool that she sat on to recant her "adventures". She pulled gently on the vent not wanting to make much noise and alert the monsters to her activities. She slowly applied force until it come off with a quiet creak as the metal had not been moved since the place was opened. Moving at a glacial pace she tested the vent to see if it could support her weight. Luckily it did, and she shuffled across, careful not to make noise as she moved her way slowly towards what she thought was Parts and Service.
As she slid she heard the six talking in the main dining room, the vents were darker than the rest of the store and her night vision senors turned making the path clear. She approached the first vent, directly across from her Cove, maybe 10 feet away, and saw the wooden boxes, with only three out of the four open. Yes! she silently fist bumped herself, and froze.
"What he if he hates you? What if he betrays you? What if he sells you out to the others to save himself?" Her mind questioned, as she sat there hunched over in the human sized vent. "I-I haven't e-e-even met him yet stop it." she shot back to nobody, except her own frantic mind, but it WAS right, look how the relationship with Fred and the others turned out. She sat there for what she felt like was hours, but in actuality had been 15 minutes. Deciding that one more enemy was little risk for making a friend, she pulled the vent cover, and slipped into the Parts and Service Room, eager and anxious all at once.
