The HTF X-Mas

'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the roads
Snow was falling and people were shoveling loads.

And outside the Happy Tree bank.
A green bear was thinking, though his face looked blank.

One hand in his pocket, one brushing off snow.
He sighed and said "Man I need some dough."

The bear made his way to the center of town.
To the stage where the Christmas Concert would go down.

Cuddles and his band are performing Christmas night.
And it's Flippy's job to fix the stage up just right.

But he was all out of money to buy decorations.
So he needed a job to make preparations.

The bear began looking 'round town for a job.
When he the two raccoons, who just love to rob.

'Twas Lifty and Shifty with a bag full of joys.
Precisely the town's whole stock of toys.

Flippy started to growl "the decorations can wait.
If i don't get those presents, Christmas just won't be great.

So he started to run towards the toy stealing team.
By the look of his face he was getting quite mean.

His teeth grew sharp and his eyes turned yellow.
He certainly looked like a dangerous fellow.

Shifty said "We've gotta sell all of these toys quickly okay?"
Lifty said "We should've stolen these toys yesterday!"

They put the big bag in the back of their van.
'Til Lifty saw Flippy and yelled "Oh man!"

The two froze up in complete fear.
As Flippy's raged self began to get near.

Any other day would have been great.
'Twas probably just a bad move of fate.

Or maybe it was just a bad check of time.
For Flippy to run straight into Mime.

Mime saw Evil Flippy running straight his way.
so he ran and prayed to live through the day.

Shifty thought this was a great time to run.
Their thieving night had turned out a lot less than fun.

Sadly Mime just couldn't run through the snow.
So when Flippy caught him, he knew it was his time to go.

The twins took this moment to finish their theft.
They got in the seats of the van and left.

But they started to hear bang and cracks a lot.
So they slowly pulled over to make a quick stop.

They got out and walked to the back of the car.
Where they saw the most disturbing thing that night.

Sticking out of the back of the car was the head,
Of Mime, who at this point alas, was dead.

And Flippy's Demon was nowhere in sight,
This really filled the raccoons with fright.

The brothers were as nervous as they could possibly get.
So they ran home to sell the toys on the net.

Though before they could escape from this evil Christmas eve,
Flippy snuck up behind them and rolled up his sleeve.

He pulled out a knife that was sharper than a hawks eye,
and he yelled "Tonight, you two thieves will die!"

The concert on Christmas day was just great.
Said to be one of the best ones to date.

The band took a break when they heard Flippy call
"Attention all kids, I've got presents for all!"

The kids came to Flippy with looks full of cheer,
Especially little Cub, who grinned ear to ear.

With all the kids gone Cuddles walked over to the bear.
"Nice work on the stage and the tinsel up there."

He pointed right over to the heads of the band
Green and red tinsel hung up in a strand.

But the thing about the tinsel that nobody could see,
Was that it was the twisted remains of Lifty and Shifty.

Flippy just smiled and began to go,
but there was one more thing Cuddles needed to know.

So he turned back around with his face shining bright
Said Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
