I have decided to make this poem my 100th Fanfiction . net post.:D

It's a dedication to the classic cartoons and while I like a couple of the cartoons today, there nothing like the old ones I love like Freakazoid.
Besides, how many more live action shows until Cartoon Network becomes "Used to show Cartoons Network"

Disclaimer: I own the poem but none of the shows listed. This was partly inspired when I was atching a little bit of 'The Perils of Peneolpe Pitstop' last night. I am impressed for the quality of animation that the old toons have as compared to most of todays stuff.

Sweet cartoons of yester-year, animated shows that we hold dear.
Tom and Jerry, Freakazoid, Scooby Doo, just to name a few that filled the old Saturday
morning void.

Random mallets, products gone astray. Nothing like we see today.
Gross things that make no sense, stupid jokes and mindless tricks.

Swat Kats, Road Rovers, Bonkers and Darkwing duck, classics that could never suck.
We hold these in our hearts and fond memories in our mind as we watched characters get blown up with dynamite.

Rocky and Bullwinke, Ducktales and Dexters Lab, just a few to bring a laugh.
The Flinststones and Jetsons, classics that we'll never forget.
We'll look back fondly and share are favorite episodes and facts.

Unforgettable gags and impossible tricks, simple things that gave us kicks.
Truly do I hope they live on, since in our hearts I hope they are never forgotten or gone.

Authors Note:
Probably not one my best poems and don't get me wrong,
I do like shows like Danny Phantom and Family Guy but almost nothing on Cartoon Network thats not on Adult Swim. Save for 'The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack'.

I already love anime but I'm referring to American cartoons.
