Muggle-born Helga Hufflepuff awoke in her ebony and gold bed. Cigara, her
black badger, lay asleep on her side against Helga. "That was the weirdest
dream. That. owl seemed like it was delivering the." She paused, trying to
figure out what had just happened. "Note that Salazar Slytherin had just
fled. Hogwarts. because of Godric." She scratched her eleven-year-old head
and sighed. "Hogwarts was a. a wizard school. Quite odd. yes. Quite odd."
She fell back asleep, unbothered by the vast amount of owls flying passed
and around her house, delivering enormous quantities of envelopes with the
return address of "Brentley's".
Rowena Ravenclaw's navy and silver nails trembled as she opened the letter.
Dear Ms. Rowena Ravenclaw, You have been accepted at Brentley's School of Wizardry. We expect your owl no later than June 25th. "Mom? MOM! I got in! I GOT IN!" Rowena stroked Chogan, her raven. "Yes, Chogan. We're going to go to Brentley. I know it's all the way across town, but we'll make it. They'll love you. Everybody loves you." Chogan purred as Rowena's mother ran upstairs. "You did? Let me see the letter!" Mrs. Ravenclaw looked through the letter and did a tiny bit of a dance. "Oh, Rowena. You have no idea how much this means to me! I went to Brentley's, as you know." "Of course I know! That's where you met Daddy!" Rowena exclaimed, and tossed her charcoal-azure colored hair. "This is going to be so great! I wonder if Ariel got accepted! Oh, this is so great, Mom!"
"Calla, come on. Don't you want to go see my dad's ship sail away with me?" Salazar Slytherin protested "No," Calla said flatly, sternly looking at Salazar. "There will be butterbeer and cockroach clusters there," Salazar said, knowing Calla would then agree. "Okay, fine." She playfully punched him on the arm. "I hate you," she said laughing. Salazar stretched his arm around her shoulder just as a tawny owl flew overhead. "Oh, that should be from Brentley," said Salazar somewhat excited. He extended his arm out to catch the letter, and read the back of it. "Yep. Brentley." Calla smiled and they kissed each other's noses. "I just hope that there aren't any of those filthy." He restrained himself from saying 'Mudblood' "Those Muggle-borns. They just. scare me." "You'll deal." She kissed him on the nose again.
"Great work, Godric. You're really pulling through." "CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME UP HERE?" Godric moved his hand around the crumbling cliff to find another place that he could hold onto. "PLEASE! Okay, this ISN'T FUNNY ANYMORE!" "Okay, Godric." Stanley lowered the rope. "Happy?" Godric's fingertips reached the rope. "Mildly." Godric climbed up the rope. "Remind me WHY we went rock climbing again?" Swiftly, a large, tawny owl swooped down and dropped a Brentley's acceptance letter. "Wow, what's that?" Stanley asked. "Um, nothing." It's my acceptance letter to Brentley. But, being a muggle, you wouldn't understand.
