"Come out! Whoever you are!"

I rolled my eyes. "Tugger, stop being so dramatic. You're going to scare them."

Tugger frowned. "Well, excuse me for trying to help!"

"If you two stop arguing, maybe I'll come out."

A sleek sounding female voice came from the bushes to our left. Her voice had A thick accent, Russian or something.

"We'll stop arguing if you come out." I tried to reason with the bodiless voice.

There was a tinkle of laughter and a short queen stepped out.

She was a black and white harlequin, much like me, except her legs were covered in black hatching and flecked with mahogany. Both of her pale gray eyes were covered by black patches and ringed in white. Her arms faded from black, to gray, to white, and ending in small mahogany paws.

"Who are you?" Tugger asked, a suave smile on his face.

"Vat do you want to know?"

She completely ignored Tugger. Placing her mahogany paws on her black and white hips she tilted her head, as if waiting for us to bombard her with questions. Munkustrap cleared his throat.

"What is your name?"

The queen smirked.

"My name is Lucha. Which one of you is Munkustrap?"

Munkustrap stepped forward. "I'm Munkustrap."

The queen smirked again and pounced on the silver tabby, her claws ripping at him.
