Grow Up: Book One

"I thought I would never say this... but I really... really... miss that guy." Kirby disappears after the demon frog incident, with Meta Knight doing the same shortly after, with both of their whereabouts being unknown. Two years later, Kirby comes back with a new friend, his return shocks everyone, with no one expecting him to come back, will this break and form new friendships?

1. Chapter 1

"I thought I would never say this... but I really... really... miss that guy." a voice sobbed.

2 YEARS EARLIER

He walked through the rubble of the town, smiling at all the pain he caused to the villagers. He was satisfied at the destruction.

Kirby had woke up sweating again, those nightmares were tormenting him for weeks, Kirby was exiled from the village, no matter how much Tiff, Tuff and Meta Knight tried to explain. The villagers just wouldn't listen. They thought of him as a threat, even his friends in Whispy Woods exiled him. His friends weren't able to see him anymore, their parents forbid it and Meta Knight went away to find more evidence against King Dedede and Nightmare Enterprises, he hadn't return for a week now.

He started losing hope that the villagers would ever forgive him, whenever he goes near them he always gets chased out by an angry mob. Kirby knew he had no place here, he walked outside and made sure no one was watching, he than ran up to a hill where he saw his Starship fully repaired. He started repairing it the moment Kirby realized the Cappies were not gonna forgive him, not this time.

He climbed into the seat and closed the glass dome over his head, Kirby fiddled around with the buttons before finally activating the ship, he looked down at Cappy town and said his final goodbye before he flew away into places unknown.
