Mal watched the island get smaller and smaller as the boat drifted further and further away. She silent said goodbye to the only home she'd ever known. It wasn't a good place to be for anyone, but it was still her home. "Guess there's no going back now." She said to herself.

"Don't know why you'd want to anyway," Evie, her new best friend, said stretching her arms out. "I for one think it'll be nice to have consistent running water."

"Yeah, that place was starting to get boring lately." Her childhood friend Jay said joining the conversation.

"You're just saying that because you've stolen everything not nailed down." Mal told him without taking her eyes off the island.

"True enough, you guys can't even imagine what kind of treasure Auradon has."

"I don't know about that, I can imagine quite alot." Evie said with a smile. "Hey Carlos, you've been pretty quiet since we left, you doing alright?" She asked. Carlos had his head hung low over the side of the boat.

"I don't think I was made for the ocean." He said lifting his head up, looking a bit green.

"We're almost there, you'll be fine." Mal said, finally turning away from the island.

"If I don't make it, tell my mom. She'll be thrilled." He said before losing his lunch into the sea below.

"Do you have to be so dramatic?" Mal asked.

"Yes," Carlos said after a pause.

The boat pulled up to the dock and the four stepped off the boat, though Carlos ran, and climbed into a long limousine as it drove off. After a long drive, the limo finally pulled up to to school where the band was there playing for them as well as two other individuals. Each other them stepped out one at a time. Evie had a lollipop in her mouth, Jay had pockets full of candy and was offering a piece to Carlos who shocked his head while still partially bent over.

"I see you found the snack bar." The all turned their heads to see a boy their age standing before them with an older woman next to him. "I'm Prince Benjamin of Auradon. I'd like to welcome all of you from the Isle. I hope that you four will be only the first of many to show that our two people can come together and put the past behind us. I for one, am very excited to meet all of you. This is Ms. Paxson, our headmistress. She wanted to meet you all as well."

"Hello children," She greeted in a soothing voice. A tone none of them have ever heard before. "I hope you find your place in our prestigious academy."

"Uh, thanks. Us to?" Mal said a bit put off by how nice Ms. Paxson sounded.

"If you'll all follow me please, I'll show you all around." Ben told them as the band marched away. They all looked to each other before following him. "Auradon prep, originally built over three hundred years ago and converted into a school buy my father when he became king."

After showing them around, he lead them upstairs into the dorm rooms. "Boy's dorms are to the left, girl's dorms are to the left. Your belongings, schedules and uniforms are already in your rooms. One last thing, on school nights you're not aloud out of your dorms past eleven."

"Race you to our room." Jay said to Carlos before the two of them took off.

"No running indoors!" Ben called out.

"They'll catch on eventually." Mal told him.

"Would you be so kind and lead us to our room?" Evie asked in a flirtatious voice while grabbing his arm.

"Of course, it'd be my pleasure." He said with a smile.

"I win!" Jay yelled as he entered the room.

"Only because I got sick earlier. I totally would've beaten you."

"Whatever helps you feel better. Are these our uniforms?" Jay asked, picking it up. "Couldn't they at least make it leather?" The uniform itself was was in bright auradon colors, with a blue jacket with yellow lining, a white, button-up shit, a yellow tie and blue pants.

"You think the girl's uniforms are this ugly?" Carlos asked.

"I'm not wearing that." Mal said throwing it back on her bed. The girl's uniforms looked the same except they had knee high white socks and yellow skirts instead of blue pants.

"Come on Mal, it's not-ok I can't even lie. It's terrible."

"Whatever, it's either that or go back to the island." Mal said caving in.

"Didn't your mom want you to find a way out?" Evie asked.

"Yeah, like I'm gonna give up our chance to get away from our parents. This is our chance to have our own place. I'm not gonna let them ruin our fun." Mal told her.

"Stupid neck death trap," Jay muttered tugging on his tie. It was the next morning, their first day at their new school began shorty and Jay already couldn't stand the uniforms. Before they even left the Isle, he hated the possibility of having to wear a uniform.

"Oh come on Jay, I think it makes you look good." Carlos told him.

"Uh, thanks?" Jay said back confused.

"No homo bro." Carlos added.

"I hope so." Jay said leaving the room.

"At least it's blue?" Mal said trying to cheer up Evie.

"I think I'm going to actually murder someone if I have to wear this too long." She said visibly shaking.

"Can you cool it for seven hours?" Mal asked. Evie looked at her with her eye twitching.

"I doubt it, this is truly evil." She asked.

"It's either that or go back to the Isle." Evie shuttered at the thought.

"I'll make it work." she said standing up.

The four of them all met up and went to their first class together. Their first class was the only one they had with each other, probably wanted to keep them seperate. Their first class was History of Auradon. The all walked into class about two minutes late since it's their first day.

"Ah, the kids from the Isle," the teacher said with disdain while looking them up and down. "Take your seats," he said dismissing them. Carlos sat in the front row, Mal and Evie sat near each other in the middle and Jay sat in the very back.

Carlos was paying close attention to the bored, actually willing to learn. Mal was only have paying attention while also drawing patterns in her notebook. Evie was staring at one of the hot guys in class, unaware that there was a guy in glasses staring at her. Jay was looking at all the nice things in the room as well as other the other students belongings with a sly smile on his face. As class dragged on, all four of them became bored and started watching the clock waiting for class to end. When the bell did ring they all sighed and got up to leave.

"That was torture." Mal said as the left the room.

"Come on, it wasn't that bad." Carlos argued.

"That cause you actually like going to school." She told him.

"Guys, remember the Isle when we could skip class and not even the teachers would care?" Jay asked.

"I must've missed so much school time making myself look perfect." Evie said with a small laugh.

"Hey guys," Ben said walking up to them in the hall. "I forgot to give you these yesterday." He said hand them each a number note with a combination on it. "It's your lockers." He said before they all went silent. "So, how was you first class?" He asked trying to break the ice.

"It was ok, right guys?" Mal asked the other and they all nodded.

"Ok, I'm gonna go, I'll talk to you guys later ok?" He said walking off.

"Well, I guess this is where we split." Mal told everyone. "Remember, stay rotten,"

"To the core." They all finished before they all walked in their separate directions.

Mal opened up her locker and started putting in everything she didn't need for her next class when she heard a voice next to her. "HI," She looked over to see and a girl with tanned skin and a big, probably fake smile on her face.

"Can I help you?" She asked.

"You're Maleficent's daughter aren't you?" The girl asked.

"No, that's the other girl with purple hair from the Isle." She laughed off her sarcasm.

"I'm Audrey Rose, Ben's girlfriend." Audrey said introducing herself.

"How nice for you, can you get to the part where you explain why you're talking to me?" Mal asked getting annoyed.

"Ben told me you were going to be in my next class so I thought I'd be nice and help you out." She said.

"You guys are pretty friendly around here aren't you?" Mal asked. Audrey nodded. "Tone it down a notch, could you? It's creepy."

"I'm so happy that my next class is with you," Evie said to Ben as she walked beside him.

"Uh, Evie listen, you should know I have a girlfriend,"

"Oh," She said a little disappointed.

"But I'm flattered, really." He reassured her.

"Yesh, sure, ok." She said to herself.

Jay closed his locker at the same time as the guy next to him and the two looked at each other.

"You look familiar." The guy told him.

"Right back at you." Jay told him.

"I didn't know anyone else from Agrabah went to this school." He told him.

He can't tell who I am? "I'm new, just transferred here." Jay told him, flashing a fake, Auradon smile. "I'm Jay." He said.

"Aziz," The other kid said shaking his hand.

"Say, aren't you-"

"The Sultan's kid yeah. Don't make a big deal about it though. Ben's the prince in Auradon."

"Oh don't worry, I'll treat you just like everyone else." Jay said, smiling evilly when Aziz looked away.

Carlos closed his locker and walked right into someone else since he wasn't looking ahead of him.

"Sorry about that guy," The other boy said.

"No it's ok, I wasn't watching...where I was…" Carlos looked up to see a pair of blue eyes looking at him. The older boy also had dirty blond, curly hair and a an absolutely perfect smile. "I...I…"

"Are you ok there? You're looking kind of flustered." He asked. Carlos was at a total loss for words and ran around the corner where he sat down and put his hand over his heart while taking heavy breaths.

"Hey, are you doing alright there?" A female voice asked. He looked over and saw an asian girl with dark hair with a confused look on her face. Carlos shook his head sporadically. She sat down on the floor with him and put her hand on his shoulder. "Hey, it's ok. Just close your eyes, try to relax." He shut his eyes closed and began to take slower, deeper breaths. "Here," She said once he opened his eyes. She was holding out a water bottle in front of him. "You could use it."

"Thanks." He said taking it from her hand and downed about half of it. "Sorry," he said when he realized how much of it he drank.

"It's ok, I think you needed it more." She told him. "I'm Lonnie," She told him.

"Carlos,"

"I haven't seen you around school."

"I'm new." He said. "I'm from the Isle." He added.

"Oh you're one of the four kids Ben brought over. So, what happened just now?"

"I, uh-"

"There you are. You doing ok?" He looked over and saw the guy from before.

"Chad, did you do something to the new kid?" Lonnie asked, accusingly.

"No, I bumped into him by accident and he just freaked out, I swear." He said defending himself.

"It's ok Lonnie, he's right. Sorry about that. I just had a panic attack for some reason. I'm not usually that high strung."

"And his name was…" Chad said.

"Carlos. Carlos de Vil." He said reaching his hand out.

"Chad Charming. Nice to meet you."

"I gotta go, I supposed to have English now with...Mr. White?" Carlos said looking at his schedule.

"That's our class." Lonnie told him.

"Yeah, c'mon we'll take you." Chad offered.

"Really? Thanks guys." He said, following them down the hall.

"You really should meet him Evie, he's like the hottest person on Earth. I swear." Carlos tod her.

"So you've said." She said trying to eat her lunch.

"And he's so nice too." Carlos went on.

"Sounds to me, like you like him." She told him.

"I-what? No way. An Auradon kid, yeah right." He said laughing it off.

"Yeah, it's about as possible as telling Mal and Jay that you're gay." She told him.

"Shh, here they come." He said as the other two members of their group walked up.

"I feel like I haven't seen you wo in eons." Mal said.

"You missed us?" Evie asked.

"No," Mal answered, shoving food in her mouth.

"So, what sort of gossip have we missed?" Jay asked in a stereotypical gay voice.

"Nothing Evie was just talking about this guy she met." Carlos explained, earning a glare from her.

"So, what do you guys think of Auradon?" Mal asked.

"I like it." Jay admitted.

"Really?" Carlos asked,

"Alot of trusting people here." He said removing stuff from his pockets.

"The guys here are cuter than back home." Evie said.

"I'm right here." Carlos told her.

"I know." She said with a smile.

"Wow." Jay said.

"What about you Mal?" Evie asked.

"Eh, it's alright I guess. Kind of boring though. Thinking about blowing this place."

"Where are you going to go? Back to the Isle?" Carlos asked.

"I don't know. I need to think about it more. It's only our first day. What do you think so far?" Carlos stretched and looked over saw Chad with some other students around him. A goofy smile spread across his face.

"It's not bad." He said. "Not bad at all." He said under his breath.

"That class went by so damn slow." Mal told Evie as they entered their dorm.

"I had P.E. so I couldn't even see the time. How do you think I feel?" She asked. "At least I can change our of this gaudy uniform. Dibs on the shower."

"By all means, go ahead. I'm going to take a nap." Mal said lying down on her bed.

"And fuck this uniform." Jay said, taking his jacket and shirt off as soon as he and Carlos walked into their dorm. Carlos couldn't help but look over at his chest, but did looked away before Jay noticed. "You're really getting along with Chad guy." Jay told him.

"You think so?" Carlos asked with a blush.

"Yeah, him and Lonnie. She's got nice legs. You gonna hit that?" He asked.

"Um, wasn't really thinking about it." Carlos said fumbling over his words.

"You sure? A hot piece of ass like that?"

"She's just not my type ok?"

"Oh you don't like girls taller than you huh?"

"Y-yeah, that's it." Carlos told him.

"So you won't be getting laid for awhile then." Jay said jokingly.

"How about you go fuck yourself?"

"Can't, you're in the room, it's be awkward."

"You didn't find it awkward when I walked in on you and Ginny Gothel." Carlos reminded him.

"It's different when I'm with a girl. It's weird if your guy friend catches you jerking it." Jay explained.

"I'm taking a shower to get away from this conversation now." Carlos told him.

Mal woke up later to the sound of knocking on her door. She walked over to the door and looked through the peephole and saw Ben outside. "Hey," she said groggily.

"Sorry, were you sleeping?" He asked.

"Yeah, what's up?" She asked.

"I was just wondering if the four of you wanted to go out to eat with me?" He proposed with a soft smile.

"Uh, yeah, ok. Just let me get Evie and change. I'll text the guys too."

"Ok, I'll see you guys outside in a few minutes." Mal waved and close the door.

"Was that Ben?" Evie asked, stepping out in a towel.

"Yeah, can you get dressed?"

"I was hoping to see Ben before that." She said.

"Shut up and change. We're going out to eat." She told her.

"Oh good, I was getting hungry anyways."

"Really? You seem more thirsty than anything else." Mal said, smugly.

"Oh hey, there he is!" Jay said when Carlos walked out of their bathroom. "I was starting to think you'd be in there all night."

"I like to be thorough." Carlos said, knowing full well why he took so long to come out.

"Well, put something on. We're going out."

"What?" Carlos asked surprised.

"To eat numbskull. You know food? The other thing you like to put in your mouth?"

"Oh, ha ha, real funny." Carlos said putting his shirt on.

"I thought so."

"Ok, are we going or what?" He asked, fully changed. Jay hopped off his bed as they left to meet with Ben and they girls.

The trunk of the limo opened up and a pair of girls climbed out. "I think we overslept." The taller one said.

"No, you were supposed to wake me." The other one accused.

"Sure, sure. You wanna go find our friends now?" She asked.

"You go. I got a boat to catch."

"What does that mean?"

"I think you know."

I am so sorry this took so long to come out. I also apologize for a lack of updates the past week I've been pretty sick lately. Tell me what you guys think so far. See y'all next time
