"Please!"
"What? After what happened, you still want him in training?"
The small fox that sat at my legs barked in disapproval at the other man. I turned away from Lee, a frown on my face as I looked into the small room door window at the young man laid in the bed. It had been a bad idea. I knew it was. And yet, my stupidity and unable to see no to a close friend had cause this... The small fox rubbed against my leg as I bend down and petted his head. Kitkit gave out a little meow, making me realize I had blocked Lee's voice out.
"...It's all he has ever wanted." Lee had finished, a painfully sad look traced his face.
"Eh… Mind repeating that?" I asked in my usual dumb way, rubbing the back of my head. Lee sighed as he summed up that had he just finished saying.
"Being a ninja is all he has ever wanted, Naruto. He wants to be able to stand by Sasuke's kid and proudly do so. Please, even if it just a desk job for the rest of his leave, don't make him quit. You think this is bad? Just tell him he can't finish his training, he'll die."
"…" Naruto looked back at the boy who laid in the bed and a flash back passed his mind of Lee laying in the same bed, unconscious and badly hurt. Lee's face of when he was told to give up. He couldn't be a ninja…
Turning his eyes back to Lee, he glared at him.
"Fine! He can stay in training BUT he will only EVER do a mission that is in this village. You hear me?" Naruto said madly, pointing at Lee like a child. Lee just smiled in relief and nodded.
"Yes Lord Hokage." "Now you're just being a smart ass."
