Ch. 1
Goten and Trunks have just gotten up after a sleepover at Trunks' house. Trunks is laughing and Goten can't figure out why. Bulma walks in to see if the boys had gotten up yet. Goten asks aloud, "Why won't this kid stop laughing"?
Trunks is rolling on the floor laughing his rear end off. "What are you laughing at Trunks"? Bulma finally tells Goten that he has something on his face. Goten goes to the bathroom mirror and refuses to believe what his poor eyes see. Trunks walks over to Goten, still laughing, and asks with guilt, "I wonder who did THAT to you"? Bulma tells Trunks how mean that was, and tells him to scrub the marker off Goten's face himself. Trunks refuses. "But I don't wanna"! Bulma firmly states that if he doesn't, he would be grounded.
Goten laughs and tells Trunks that he's getting what he deserves. Trunks does a hurried job and repeatedly calls Goten an idiot under his breath. They head outside.
Trunks and Goten decide to fly to their hangout spot, a simple tree stump in the woods that border West City. They talk for a few minutes before noticing Goku and someone else flying overhead. Trunks wants to see what they are up to so he flies up but by that time they are gone. Goten decides not to follow Trunks because he thinks he will get in trouble. Trunks flies down and puts up a small argument. "That's the whole point… getting in trouble, that is. And besides, we have nothing better to do." Goten agrees and they fly off in the same direction. They only get a chance to fly for a minute because Trunks has to take a bathroom break. Still in the woods, while waiting for Trunks to get done, Goten notices a shiny object, which upon close inspection is a locked capsule from Capsule Corporation, which is Bulma's multi-million dollar company. Trunks comes over, notices it, and spends a 10 minutes of wasted time trying to get it open. Goten takes it back and says they should just wait to go to Capsule Corp. to see if Bulma knew about it. Bulma admits to not knowing anything about this type of capsule, though she does recognize it from somewhere. Trunks then remembers about seeing Goku and his mysterious friend. Trunks and Goten fill Bulma in on that situation, and now she seems interested in the new character. FIN
