This was inspired by a very sad NaLu story I read. Technically it's a poem, but it tells a story so shut it. I don't own FT or the original idea, just the poem itself.

Girl on her bed,

Crying for all she's worth.

Boy out of his head,

Too dead to be alive.

Watch her cry,

See the tears flow.

A cold stone lets her lie,

Sleep while she can.

Boy gone for her life,

Saved her with his last breath.

"I love you," took the knife,

How can she forgive?

Blood stains the floor,

A head cradled by a lap.

As her tears pour,

She curses the day.

She asks, "Why?"

But she knows it's because.

The boy hated to see her cry,

How much more could he watch her die?

She wipes the grave,

Places the pink flowers.

He was so brave,

So bravely stupid.

She can't bear it,

But she must.

For inside her lies a little bit,

Of the man who saved her.

Pink for his hair,

Yellow for hers.

White scarf for his heir,

Keys for the girl.

Little pink girl watches,

Her mommy cry.

She sobs in batches,

Each more painful than the last.

Little girl doesn't understand yet,

But she knows her daddy is here.

So she makes a bet,

She will help her mommy stop being sad.

She nicely asks the grave,

"Why did you leave?"

"Because he was brave,"

Her mommy answers.

She gathers the girl in her arms,

Walking away from the stone.

She'll keep her safe from all harm,

She can't lose her too.
