Artemis was (for once) enjoying herself, seating very comfortably in a couch at the cave in Mount Justice, a book in her lap. But apparently the world was out to get her. Why? Because that loud-mouthed red headed Wally West (aka Kid Idiot) ruined her peace and quiet (she knew she needed to find a library to stay in, she didn't know what she was thinking when she tought she would find some peace and quiet in here).

Robin, his partner in crime, was apparently in on it too since he was talking almost as loudly as his friend. Artemis had been very content reading her book. But nooo, destiny or fate or whatever you want to call it decided to be a pain in the ass and butt in on the one moment she felt most comfortable in (and god knows how little of that has been happening since she joined the team).

The point to all this drama? The conversation happening between our two young heroes Kid Flash and Robin. It went something akin to this:

"What?! Ha! As if," Wally had scoffed at Robin, "that is a game of the weak-hearted. 'Sides, I doubt it would really work on our group of super heroes. You know, we're not exactly... y'know normal."

Robin just raised a single eyebrow as if saying "Sooo, what's your point?". Wally gave an exasperated sigh and mumbled a "nevermind", when that ninja kid put his mind on something, it would be done. Besides, he was kindda curious as of how this game could really truly work when most of the people they had in mind to play with weren't exactly expressive beings.

" 'Ya scared your secret will be found out?" Robin taunted with that annoying shit-eating grin of his.

Wally stiffened for a moment and then narrowed his eyes at his long-time friend, "Don't make me hurt you."

Robin just laughed his creepy echoing laugh... though seriously, how did he do that? The boys seemed to completely disregard the female archer that had been listening in on their conversation and been following them. Either that or it was only Wally the unaware one and Dick simply didn't care. Most likely the second option.

As the conversation progressed, they were entering another less tech-y room that had actual normal doors that weren't tech-nologized* Robin had swung the door closed without looking backwards, meanwhile Artemis was one step in and one step out the door. She finally decided to make her presence known with a loud "Ow! Didn't you see me?"

Robin turned back and gave her a bored glance and flatly said, "What's your point?"

Wally looked backwards, completely surprised to hear and find the blond spitfire just standing there with a slightly red mark on her forehead. Meanwhile Artemis was spouting off the best curse words she knew at Robin. That kid could be as cold-hearted as his mentor when he wanted to.

A/N: So, that's ALL I have written for now. I'm still working on the finer details and all that. If anyone wants me continue for more, I will. I just want you guy's opinions. This is the first time I've actually taken a story seriously, so it would mean a lot to me if I had some support from someone.
