A/N: Welcome to the A to Z 100 Word Drabble Series, where every story is approximately 100 words long, and is full of fluff and funniness, and the author's note is nearly as long as the stories themselves. This is a series of drabbles, based on different characters in Harry Potter, using prompts beginning with each of the 26 letters of the alphabet. Every year the Marauders put on an April Fool's Day prank. This year they had outdone themselves. They cast a spell over everyone in the castle that caused all figures of speech to be taken literally.
They watched in amusement as students and teachers alike began turning, seemingly spontaneously into blackened pots and kettles, and two peas in a pod, or others with cats clinging to their tongues, or hopping around with their foot in their mouth.
However, one Minerva McGonagall was either unaware of their prank, or was feeling particularly mean that day, and happened to mention in Transfiguration that since James and Sirius were so close, it seemed as if they were joint at the hip!
Instantly, from opposite sides of the room, the two friends sprung together, joint until midnight. After a day full of awkward moments- attempting to go to the bathroom, eating with someone's arm in your mashed potatoes, etc, Sirius and James decided that for the good of everyone, they would stop playing so many pranks, for a while anyways.
