Aspen in Summer
A/N this story takes place after you see Nate mail Jenny the letter in season 2 of Gossip Girl. The snowflake ball never happened and this is a NENNY story featuring CHAIR and DERENA.
Chapter 1: Prolouge
Jenny's POV
It was Monday the first day Dan had of break. Of course, I didn't have break since Vanessa and I convinced my Dad to home school me. Dan, Dad and I were playing scrabble on the coffee table in the living room, when there was a knock at the door. Dan went to answer it. When I looked up Serena, Eric and Blair were all entering the loft. Serena spoke first, "Hi Dan, Jenny and Rufus we all just came to invite you on a trip this summer". Dan grinned as his girlfriend spoke and responded with a simple 'where'. This time Blair spoke, "Aspen. It's beautiful this time of year and my mother and I want the whole family there. And we consider the three of you family now. Soooo, we were wondering if you would like to come". For the first time in two years I actually thought I heard sincerity in Blair's voi… "Blair even convinced Chuck and Nate to come it's gonna be a lot of fun. Jonathon's coming too". This time Eric had interrupted my thoughts. I was about to say something when my brother and father answered simultaneously, "We'd love to come!" Great just great. Serena then looked at me, "Jen?" How could I say no to a free trip to ASPEN! By saying NO, Jenny. "Sure", was my reply before I even realized it. "Great the jet leaves from JFK at 12 sharp on Thursday. See you then," Blair responded. Wait… did she say jet?
