I thought this would be cute, but don't forget…SORATO always wins! Teeheehee…'tis true, though. I know, it's short, but it covers all the possible aspects of Sora's marriage. Unless you like Takeru/Sora, Daisuke/Sora, Cody/Sora, Ken/Sora, or Willis/Sora, but I have never met any people who do.

Disclaimer: Sadly, I didn't get Digimon for Christmas, or for my birthday. But if by some weird twist of fate I do, I'll be the first to let y'all know!

Three Ways it could Have Happened and One Way it did

Taichi

"Sora, will you marry me?"

It passes over like a casual topic over a nice dinner, but Tai knows I'm listening. He grins awkwardly and pulls out a little black box and I see a gorgeous ring. A pink-red diamond bordered by two small orange-red crystals. Like our crest colors, Love and Courage.

I hug him and whisper my answer into his ear…

Jyou

"Sora Takenouchi, please accept this ring as I hope you will my love. Will you marry me?"

Formally, Jyou kneels down and offers me a ring, the traditional diamond. Beautiful, but simple, two adjectives that are sometimes used to describe myself too. I pick up the ring and he gets up.

I tell him a sentence that carries the fate of his love…

Koushiro

"Sora Takenouchi, will you marry me?"

Koushiro calmly gives me a black velvet box. I open it, and I see a pale red crystal on a gold band. Engraved on the back in tiny letters is the phrase, 'We redheads have to stick together.'

My answer is a phrase that will lead us down the path of right or wrong…

Yamato

"Sora, I love and cherish you with all my heart, which is why I'm asking you this: Will you marry me?"

Yamato's beautiful cobalt eyes betray nothing as I look upon a beautiful pink and blue ring. Barely visible upon them is the faintest etching of the sign of Love on the pink and Friendship on the blue.

I smile, and I know my answer is right…

Many smiling eyes greet us as we exchange vows. My heart sing and my soul dances and I know I've finally found the one that's for me.

Out of all I could have had—Taichi Yagami, Jyou Kido, Koushiro Izumi—I picked you.

May our hearts always be together. I pledge my eternal love to you, and I know you have to me—long ago.

You will live in my heart forever—

Yamato Ishida
