AN: I've been wanting to write a little story on Golden for awhile now, so here it is! Enjoy.

Summary: Lissy James was told Dylan would be hers, but how did he feel about her exactly? LissyxDylan one-shot about their first kiss.

Disclaimer: I do not own Golden, nor any of the characters. :3 I can't wait for Platinum to come out.

Lissy…

I heard it, my name being called, at such a distance that I didn't know where it had come from or who had even said it. I dreamt in colors and connections, so voices were non-existent to me then.

Lissy…

I could feel my body moving, a sure sign that I was still asleep and that it was definitely too early to have anyone calling my name. I'm pretty sure that wasn't going to stop whoever it was. They were on a mission.

Lissy!

Hands grabbed my shoulders, shaking me until my head was lolling back and forth. With a groan, my eyes opened and who else would I be staring at than my all-time hero—and quintessential future husband if Grams was right; not that I was really all interested—staring back through his too-long hair. He was also touching me, in my room, on my bed, while I was hardly dressed. I could feel my cheeks start burning red even as Dylan's trademarked bored look took over his face. My aura—today a light blue—freaked out, exploding in every direction.

Dylan still had a hold of my shoulders, still sat on my bed as he spoke. "You kind of snore, you know."

Oh, God. And I'm connected to him forever?

"Uh," I managed to come back with. What can I say? It was too early for me, and I had just woken up.

"Anyway, we're supposed to meet Audra, remember?" Dylan went on, giving me another copyrighted expression: his smirk.

"R-right," I managed to stutter.

"What's wrong with you?"

"Who told you to come in here?"

"Your mom."

Yeah, that sounded like something my mom would do. Thanks, Mom, and so much for nurturing green, right?

Dylan let a grin hop onto his face as his hands slid from my shoulders and down my arms. His pearl-like aura reached out, grabbing for mine. "Do I make you uncomfortable in here?"

My face felt so hot, but I lied anyway. "Of course not."

"Really?" He teased.

I tried to wiggle his hands off me, but that only resulted in me squirming around and ending up closer to him. "Yes, really. You don't affect me, Dylan."

Our auras intertwined. My hearts sped up. I didn't know what was going on, but this Dylan was…well, exciting.

One of his hands slid back up my arm until it cupped the back of my neck. He leaned forward, slowly, because at any time, I could have moved. I really didn't want to now. In fact, I might have leaned towards him myself until our lips met. His mouth was soft as we just pressed them together in a sort of awkwardness. I mean, this was our first kiss, a teasing sort of test.

I don't know, something in me didn't want it to be a waste like the one I had with Paul. I let one of my limp hands reach up, leaning more into this kiss. Dylan's mouth left mine for a second before scooping my lips back up in tender thought.

And then it was all over. Quickly, he was up and at my door as if he were on fire, that bland look back on his face.

"Lissy, hurry and get dressed," he muttered, not quite looking at me—which really wasn't so unusual.

"Dylan."

"And Lissy," he added just before leaving. "Don't forget to brush your teeth."

I snorted, crossing my arms across my chest. Damn Dylan, always the same. But then my fingers drifted to my lips and lingered there as I remembered.

"Damn Dylan," I repeated in a soft voice.
