He had been gone six months, and now he was back. He wasn't proud of what he'd done or what he was going to do. But it was what was necessary. And the only way he could think of to keep everybody safe. She was worried about him. Like always.
He had to go and she chased after him. It felt so normal. Comforting. It had been rough and it weren't going to get easier any time soon. She looked more upset than he'd have expected, so he reassured her, that he was going to be careful.
He lightly touched her shoulder remembering what had happened the last time things had gone awry, he was not going to let anything like that happen again. He had a new responsibility now. To not let the past repeat itself.
A/N: There wasn't really a point with this, the shoulder touching just reminded me of Lisbon getting shot in that shoulder. That's all.
On another note I can't believe there's only one day left until season 5 premieres, yay excited! *doing a happy Lisbon dance* ;)
