I thought there was nothing more to say.

Turns out, I was wrong. Of course, though, it just had to be one of those rare situations where you don't know how much you care about someone until they're gone.

But are you really gone? I sense no life within that shell of yours, but are you really gone? Because nothing ever stays buried, and I doubt you'll be an exception.

I know you're dead. Nothing will change that. Beast Boy doesn't know that we found a cure. He also doesn't know that once we located its source, we destroyed it. There is no way you can come back.

You're dead.

But are you gone?

You're standing here as a shrine, a symbol of all a hero can be: a turncoat. A traitor. A friend. An apprentice. A lover, in Beast Boy's case. Evil.

Hah.

Some role models were setting up for future generations, eh Terra? Even you couldn't disagree. You could never disagree. Not with anyone. Not me, not Robin, and certainly not Slade.

You're as bad as he is. I've never felt any remorse for you, simply because I know you're not gone.

If Slade could survive what you put him through, then there's no way you're going to stay dead.

You may have fooled the others, Terra, but not me. I know you're not gone. I know you're coming back. And I'm ready. I'm always aware, keeping my consciousness sharp for any signs of your arrival. Next time, I'll get to you before Beast Boy or Robin, or even Cyborg.

And then I'll tear every fiber of your being apart. I'll banish whatever's left of your pathetic, weak soul to the underworld, and I'll make sure that you never come back.

No one has to know, Terra. It's our little secret.

Bah, oneshot again. I'm too lazy to write anything with a plot and multiple chapters.

Anyway...yeah. RobinRocks liked my last oneshot, so I'd like to see what she makes of this one. It's definitely shorter, but it could also be interpreted in several ways.

I may or may not add on to this and make it plotty, but in order for that to happen, you'll have to boost my self-confidence and review! Ha. I've caught the review-fever from RobinRocks—damn you, RR!

So. In conclusion...

See that little purple button?

I knew you would.
