A/N: Alright, now that I've watched the WHOLE episode, here's another Jerry/Traci fic.

Based on what he said at the end of the episode, this is a fic about them going to the zoo.

I hope you guys like this one, I know I'll love writing it.

As always, please read and review, I live for feedback!

...

It was a hot day in Toronto, but no one was having a bad time because of it.

Leo was chatting happily about the hippos they'd just come from seeing, and Jerry was joining right in with him.

Glancing down at her son and her boyfriend, Traci couldn't be happier that Jerry had found out about her son. And on Leo's end, her little boy loved him. He wanted to know all about being a cop, and since Traci wouldn't tell him the 'good' stuff, he tried to wrap Jerry around his finger. It almost amused her to see that it worked, but she put an end of Leo's questions, suggesting they head over to monkeys.

They spent the day taking in a few shows, and wandering around the rest of the zoo, trying to see all of the animals. Jerry hadn't been lying when he said he liked the zoo ... he seemed to know a little bit about all the animals there. He was so great with Leo ... he hadn't been lying about liking kids, either.

When it came to the paddle boat ride around the duck pond, Leo asked Jerry to go with him.

Jerry glanced at Traci, seeming to ask permission, and then almost giggled when she nodded. Traci laughed, watching the two of them getting so excited about riding the paddle boats.

When their turn came up, Traci moved up to the bridge by the pond to get a better view.

She watched them push out into the pond, Jerry pointing out things to Leo while the six-year old laughed. Traci smiled fondly, leaning against the railing on the bridge to watch the two of them.

"Are they yours?" a woman asked from beside her, motioning to the two in the boat.

Traci nodded her head yes, thinking that she sort of considering Jerry to be 'hers'.

"Mine are over there," the woman told her, pointing at the other end of the pond. Sure enough, a man and his daughter were making their way around the water, gazing at the ducks swimming about. "It's such a great day, isn't it?"

"Yeah, it's beautiful," Traci agreed. "Perfect weather to spend the day out."

The woman sighed, leaning down against the railing. "Gosh, my little girl knows how to play her daddy. Would you believe that he's afraid of the water?"

Traci wouldn't have believed it, considering how happy the two looked.

"It's amazing what children do for you," the woman stated. "What about yours?"

Traci pursed her lips for a moment before she nodded. "Yeah ... my Leo's got him pretty wrapped."

The woman smiled, nodding her head. She spotted her family heading back to the dock, so she said her goodbyes, walking towards them.

Traci stayed at the bridge, looking out at Jerry and Leo. She could have said that Jerry wasn't her husband, wasn't Leo's father ... but the words hadn't come out. The idea was too appealing.

They spotted her watching and waved. Jerry had such a bright smile on his face, evident that he was having a great time.

It warmed her heart to see the two of them like that. Maybe it could happen ... someday. She could have that perfect little family that she always wanted. No deadbeat exes, no worrying about if her boyfriend would be okay with her having a kid.

She wanted Jerry to be the one. She wanted to spend more days like this, with him and Leo, just hanging out and having fun. She wanted to chat with other moms about how her kid had his "daddy" wrapped around his finger.

Someday ... she could see it happening.

...

The end.
