A.N. Hello! I'm Chesty's Superbest Friend! I love this ridiculously wonderful movie, and Jesse and Beca are just, ahh, supercute. So this is a silly idea that I had for them. Really. It's silly. Really really silly. And fluffy. It's almost criminal. It's also a bit short. Sorry bout that.

So please, enjoy! I hope you don't combust with all the sweetness! Oh, and I chose Sucker Punch because man, does that movie have a soundtrack. Amiright?

Disclaimer: Naw, man. Naw. I don't own Pitch Perfect.

I Didn't Miss You

"I didn't miss you, you know," Jesse announced suddenly. The movie they were watching—Sucker Punch—just ended. They were in Beca's room, on her bed, lying together. Close together.

"Oh?" Beca raised her head from where it was previously resting on the pillow. She raised an eyebrow at Jesse who was lying next to her. "Didn't miss me when?" she asked.

"Over Spring Break. When I was mad at you. Which I was." He reinforced his last statement with a firm nod.

"Right. You didn't miss me." She fought a smile.

His face was still strangely serious, with just a tiny glint in his eyes."I also didn't listen to your playlists every time I was at work. By myself."

"Of course you didn't. That would be weird, considering you didn't miss me."

"Which I didn't."

"Right." She laid back down, watching the credits fall up the screen as Jesse continued to tell her...whatever it was he was trying to tell her.

"I didn't think about you all the time, either." He grabbed her hand that was closest to him and began to absently caress it.

"Well good. Because that's what stalkers do." Beca was glad that her voice stayed neutral, even though it was a bit more difficult than it usually was.

"And I'm not a stalker." He hid a smile. "I just happened upon where you work, where you live, who your father is, what your schedule is, who your friends are, and what you do in your free time."

She couldn't help a bark of laughter at that. "Right. Because you don't think about me all the time."

The credits were done rolling now, and the movie was back on its menu screen. Beca couldn't help but feel that the energy in the room had changed. It was exponentially darker in the room.

Jesse brought his head closer to hers and caught her gaze. "I also didn't think about kissing you."

"Oh." Good thing that didn't sound too much like a squeak. Just keep it together, Beca.

"I didn't think about kissing you," he repeated, but now he was staring at her lips.

"You just said that."

"I know. I just felt I had to remind you. I didn't think about kissing you. Everywhere."

"Wow. Everywhere."

"I'm not thinking about kissing you right now."

"Good. Cuz I'm not thinking about kissing you."

"Good."

Jesse grinned now, looking back up at Beca's eyes. He started to lean in, but before he could do exactly what he didn't want to do, Beca had something to say.

"Hey Jesse?"

"Yeah?" He was a hair-breaths away.

Beca smiled softly. "I didn't miss you, either."
