Today's the day. The worst day of my life.
Jack laid on his bed lost in thought. Juliet had left him. Left him like Kate did. Both of them left him for another man. Dr. Shephard knew Kate had left him for Sawyer but he did not know who Juliet had left him for. Jack sighed.
Could you be with him? Or was it just a lie?
Jack had gotten phone calls from Kate when he was with Juliet. She had always said the same thing: Jack, can I come back? And he had always said the same thing: No. Jack did not know why he always refused. Maybe it was because Kate always said that she could be with Sawyer when they got into fights. Maybe it was because he had moved on from her. Either way, Kate never came back to Jack.
I don't want to know that you know it should've been me.
Jack knew that Juliet wanted to come back to him. He just knew it. Even if she never admitted it, Jack knew the truth. And even though Juliet left him two weeks ago, Jack knew deep down that Juliet was most likely regretting it. But Jack didn't want to hear it.
I'm learning to fall. I can't hardly breathe. When I'm going down don't worry about me. Don't try this at home. You said you don't see.
Jack's life had started to spiral downward after Juliet had left him. He started falling, losing control of what was going on around him. All Jack knew was that the two women he ha ever truly loved left him.
And I can't stop dreaming. Watching you and him when it should have been me.
All Jack could think of was of Kate and Sawyer together. It tore him apart. He also thought of Juliet and her new man. Jack had begun to fall, and he didn't know where he was going to land.

Jack was falling and all he could do was to wait and see where he landed.
