Broken and abandoned again
As Selina climbs through the window into her apartment, she starts to release her rage on whatever she gets her hands on.
"Why Bruce. WHY?"
She grabs the nearest thing she finds which was a lamp and threw it at the wall
"After everything we been through. You just get up and fly away?!"
She grabs a chair and throws it at the wall.
"Why did you leave? IT WAS OVER!"
She began to throw things all over the room.
"Why would you leave me after everything?!"
She rips and smashes glass and throws chairs around like a feral beast.
"Why didn't you at least say goodbye face to face and not with a stupid letter?"
Her rampage goes on for a few hours until she was tired.
She collapses onto her bed and cries.
"Bruce…I thought you…"

She cries and cries until she fell asleep.
Next day. She was colder than she ever was before.
Everyone she loved seems to either leave her or turn into monstrous shadows of their former selves.
But there were similarities between her and them.
They lost their humanity to Gotham. And now it seems she lost hers too.
The only person that loved her like no other and had been there for her like she was for him since the beginning. Is now gone. And now the glimpse of light inside that kept her from the darkness is now gone.
I'm never going to get close to anyone else again.
Her anger and resentment towards Gotham, her abandonment and constant betrayals and broken promises had almost reached her breaking point. Only now yesterday that the one person she ever loved, her boyfriend, her only friend now gone is what breaks the strap off the camel's back.
No more.
She was tired of being at the bottom of Gotham's garbage and being in the streets.
She was tired of being abandoned and getting betrayed every time.
She was tired of being powerless and unable to save those she loved.
She was tired of being used and toyed with and almost dying 2 times.
She was tired of all the pointless sorry's and being lied to.
She was tired of the broken promises and losing her loved ones.
Most of all. She was tired of being brokenhearted.
And now her heart is as cold as Gotham's streets and dark alleys.
No more.
The moment Selina saw Bruce fly away is the moment something in her died.
Now there was only a hardened criminal.
There was only a ruthless thief that will rely only herself and herself alone.
Now there was only Catwoman.
I never needed your protection Bruce…. You were the only person I ever cared about…. And you left me….
I promised I would be there wherever you needed me. It seems you won't do the same...
She leaves her apartment. Leaving the letter behind
I wish I never met you...
-This was the first Fanfiction I made. I thought about how would Selina have reacted after Bruce leaving. And even though I published this today on April 25. I think its quite accurate given what Selina says to Bruce 10 years later. Its truly sad how things turned out between them. It just shows that even people that love you can hurt you more than your enemies. I feel sorry for Selina. Atleast Bruce knew his parents. Selina's Mom never cared about her. So it makes sense that she wouldn't trust anyone. But because she allowed one attachment to one person, which so happened to be Bruce Wayne. It destroyed her in the end.
I hope you enjoyed this anyway. Because I think Batcat is one of the most tragic things about Gotham. And I'm going to miss it
