Hi, this is another drabble about Remus/Tonks! Enjoy!
Remus Lupin walked into 12 Grimmauld Place with a faint smile on his face. There was another Order meeting tonight, but at least Nymphadora and Sirius would make up for it afterwards. They often shared stories about their Hogwarts days, along with Sirius getting drunk, prompting conversations between him and Nymphadora.
Nymphadora. She was a beautiful, lively and young Auror. Not to mention Sirius's little cousin. But he couldn't help himself when his eyes wandered over to her.
If Sirius knew, he'd be a dead man for sure.
Most of the meeting, Severus was giving his report on the Death Eaters, but only one, pink-haired girl was on his mind. But that's exactly the point. She was a girl. And he was an old man. At least, he was thirteen years older than her. She would never return his feelings. And he had to get rid of them somehow.
For the past few weeks, he realized that he indeed fancied her. He tried to act normal around her, but she made it impossible to do so. He would be content reading a book, alone, in the library, but whenever she walked in, she always made him do the strangest things and talk about the weirdest subjects. Never did Remus imagine that he would talk with her late into the night about how he was bit, or about everything that'd she'd ever broke in her flat.
One more thing about Nymphadora. She was dangerous.
First off, she was a walking disaster, a whirlwind of color. And he found it apart of her charm. She wouldn't be the same, lovely Nymphadora without her clumsiness.
Secondly, she was a danger to his lifestyle. He had a daily routine. His life had always been the same, over and over, before he met her. She was spontaneous. A burst of life in his dull world. And he was scared yet intrigued by that. He never knew what to expect when she walked through the door. She always did the unexpected. Another reason he was drawn to her.
But lately, the pull's been stronger. Because thirdly, Remus Lupin was in danger of falling for Nymphadora Tonks.
