A kind-of Jason-Reyna reunion fanfic!

Why am I so dumb? Reyna thought.

She was stupid enough to to make a move on Percy Jackson. But here she is, Annabeth Chase, hogging him and never leaving him as if Percy would lose his memory again.

Oh, how I wish Jason were here... wait... there he is! Reyna's heart started going Ja-son Ja-son. When she saw his blond hair and sky blue eyes, all memories came flooding to her.

The time when he arrived at Camp Jupiter, when he got his admission to the Fifth Cohort and when he got elected Praetor. Later, Reyna and Jason were about to get together, when Jason lost his memories. She sent search parties for him and never lost hope. And then came Perseus Jackson.

Despite her anger towards him for blowing up Circe's island, her former home, she could not help but like him for his childish attitude and contagious grin. Slowly, she fell for him too. But when Percy said that he has a girlfriend, she accepted it and they started their friendship.

But now, seeing Jason with his arms around another girl, Reyna's heart broke to pieces. Jason must have remembered her, because he started to come towards her with a half- smile. Oh, did she mention this? HE CAME WITH THE GIRL.

"Uh, hi, Reyna," he said shyly as if he weren't sure that Reyna was her name.

"Jason," Reyna nodded, sticking out her hand - a classic Roman greeting.

"How are you?" he asked while they shook hands and while electricity passed through Reyna's palm.

"I'm good. You?" she replied. But her head was going, HOW ARE YOU? IS THAT THE QUESTION YOU ASK AFTER REAPPEARING AFTER EIGHT MONTHS?

"Very good," he smiled while pointing to the girl, "This is Piper McLean, a daughter of Aphr-Venus and, uh, my, uh, girlfriend.

I know that! her mind was crying out. Besides, who names a girl Piper?

Reyna examined her. She did not know what else Jason saw in her, but she sure was pretty with her choppy brown hair and kaleidoscope eyes.

"Pleased to meet you," Reyna acknowledged her.

"You too," Piper said, smiling humbly.

"Come, let us all go to the Senate Hall for formal introductions," Reyna said to them, turned around and was about to go away, when she heard a voice saying, "What? Isn't she going to talk to Leo, the awesome?"

Rena turned around to see a boy with elfish facial features and a cocky smile. It was one of those smiles, which, despite all sadness, lightens you up and that was exactly what happened to Reyna.

Quickly regaining her emotionless expression, she coldly asked, "Who is this, may I ask?"

"Oh, this is Leo Valdez, son of Vulcan, the funniest kid at the Greek camp, my best friend and also our personal clown." The last part was barely audible.

"Why, thank you," he said, grinning. Then, he thought about something and added, "Hey, I'm not a clown!" Turning to Reyna, he whispered, "He's just jealous," and WINKED AT HER.

"Nice to meet you," she said in a much gentler tone.

"You too! So, what are we waiting for, let's go to the House!" Leo said excitedly.

"It's a Senate Hall, dummy!" Piper said, while slapping his head.

"It is something, isn't it?" Leo said, while dragging Rena away. Reyna was surprised by that act of his, but she went anyway.

As they went, she thought that her broken heart is going to be fixed by Leo Valdez.
