Hullo! I'm back, I'm not really sure how I thought of this, but it's a crazy-stupid-crack fic.
Jack lay on the floor, dazed and confused.
"Where the hell am I?" Jack rolled on his back and looked up into darkness. "And how did I get here?"
He sat up, the only source of light came from a small orange candle by his feet. A message was scrawled in large letters on the brick wall, the only thing he could see.
Be nimble…
"What does that mean?" He whispered.
Jack picked up the candle and walked towards the wall. He reached out to touch the bricks. The wall vanished at the touch.
"What?" He shouted.
The room ahead of him was dark, but the faint shadow of a wall could be seen a few feet away.
Jack stepped tentatively near the wall, again it had a message.
Be quick…
"Is there a reason why that sounds really familiar?" He muttered.
Jack touched the wall, it vanished. This time the room was brightly illuminated. His eyes immediately focused on the message on the wall across from him.
Jump!
He looked down, the stone floor cut off only 5 inches from his feet. The chasm between the sides wasn't what surprised him. It was the huge candle that filled the entire space.
"Well, I guess I jump. It's not that far and the wall has just solidified."
Jack gathered his strength then leaped across the chasm.
"Well, that was easier than I thought. But seriously what the hell is going on?" The wall in front of him vaporized, a figure in a dark cloak stood clapping.
"Jack be nimble! Jack be quick! Jack jump over the candle stick!" The young woman fell into a fit of giggles.
"But, who? Who are you? How did I get out of the TARDIS?"
"Uhh.." The woman lowered her hood for a moment, she had long, dirty blonde hair that tumbled down her shoulders. Natural, not died like Rose's. Her face had a blank, confused expression on her face.
"I got bored… and uhh.. well, I wasn't expecting you to even ask about that…"
The woman flinched at whistle-hum of the TARDIS materializing, she turned back to him.
"Well, that's my cue." She grabbed the edge of her cloak with her right hand, holding it in front of her, Dracula style. She threw something small and circular to the ground. She was enveloped in smoke then, vanished.
"But, what? What just, what just. What just happened?" Jack stood there still holding the candle, incredibly confused. "Who? Who was that?"
"Well, thank goodness we found 'ya! Warn us next time before ya' pop off like that." The Doctor chirped from inside the TARDIS, leaning out the door.
"Yeah, I just. Am not sure- Never mind." He said, with his back to the TARDIS.
"Where'd 'ya get the candle?" The Doctor asked. "Well, don't just stand there, this is a weird place in the universe. Let's go."
"Okay." Jack replied, still in a state of shock and confusion. He turned around and walked back into the TARDIS.
"What's with the candle?" Rose asked from the jumpseat. "Whats up with you?"
"I don't wanna talk about it." Jack walked out of the console room, taking the candle with him. "I'm gonna go lay down."
Rose and The Doctor looked at each other in confusion.
"Where exactly are we, Doctor?" Rose asked him.
"Uhh.. a weird place in time and space. Let's not stay long." The Doctor crossed to the controls setting for a new destination.
If you didn't get it, it was based off of a nursery rhyme, "Jack be nimble." I may write a sequel to this at some point. Ya, know, explain who the blond woman was and where Jack was. And stuff. Tell me what you think!
